You are a TOTAL LIFESAVER!!! ** SOLUTION #4 DID IT FOR ME!!*** This printer was headed back to the store to be returned b/c we had been driven pyscho for 2 days trying to complete setup and connect it to the wifi. Every single time we thought it was set up, the orange alarm lamp stayed lit on the printer and my Windows PC gave a message indicating the printer could not be detected. It was not until I watched this video, and you suggested hotels, dorms (and I am in an AIR BNB!!!!) may have 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz internet and to ensure I am on the right one, and not a "limited" or restricted version of the internet for "guests". A light bulb finally went off in my head and I connected the laptop AND printer to my mobile hotspot. It was so easy! I wish I had watched this video 2 days ago. I have a MG 3620, THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES!
I connected mine to my PC using my phone as hotspot, installed the driver from canon website, printed, all ok. I tried to do it again today and would go on error. Had to re install the driver and it started working again. Hope I don't have to do this every time I need to print from my PC because it's bulls**t, I'll end up with 1000 copies of the same printer setup in my laptop.
Unless it’s sat right next to the router, you’ll always have connection issues. I’m on my 3rd Canon printer now and it’s always an issue. I don’t have connection issues with anything else.
i often print multiple pages from my phone. problem is in almost every instance pages that should be printed are excluded so i have to send the missing pages back to the printer via phone and hope for the best. while i am here i must include that canon's scan driver is a royal POS and wish i had stuck with EPSON instead of switching to canon
this printer worked great but ever since i moved i haven’t been able to connect it to my wifi😭 edit* never mind I just fixed it by pressing the WPS button on my rooter and going through the lan settings
DId not work for me. Be aware, don't buy a wireless Canon printer except if you are a Apple /Iphone user. As for a lot of thing, Canon and Apple are working together to make Canon a sort of Apple device only. Unfriendly to Windows and Android. I had HP for years, Epson, no problem, but I recently moved a bought a Canon TS3500. A real pin in the a...and such a waste of time, energy. I had the exact problem ... but after goint back to Walmart and getting the WIRED chord to get it to work .... I found the real problem and fix ... at least for my TS3722 wireless printer and it's not on this video. It turns out the default link in the original set up process takes you to the Microsolt store [to try and sell you stuff you don't need]. When I hovered over the the link with my mouse, I found that my model is not listed as those that the software supports. Then ... I found a link below that says something to the effect that "if you're having trouble ... click this other link !!!!" .... So I did .... and it worked perfectly on both of my desktops and my laptop. There should be a giant warning on the box so buyer beware. I was ready to take a jack hammer to the thing.
My parents have basic Internet from virgin media can't connect it to there WiFi after dozens upon dozens of attempts, I take there printer to my house I have the best Internet virgin media offers and can connect it in minutes.

Same here I spent 1/2 the night trying to Wi-Fi connect my new printer and no luck. I'm so frustrated and the dam thing is going back to Walmart

The best fix I found was the return department at the store I purchased it from.. I won't be looking at a Canon product ever again.

Tried it all. Test print page says connected to network, but computer still says printer offline.

I work in an office with modern printers and we print al dy long and these bastards still randomly disconnect .
