What’s your bushing setup? Mine came with 65A and 85A… and had to loosen the trucks to 4 exposed threads to make it responsive/carvy Switched the rear to the 75A they threw in, and it’s just 1 thread instead of 4. Ordered some riptide bushings and might replace the front from stock 65A to 60A riptide bushings or their 65A if there’s a significant different because of the brand
I'm 185 pounds and run 75 rear with 65 front. Perhaps just replace the 85 with the 75a riptide bushing and you'll get that carving back without having to leave the set screws so loose...
@@COYOTEEXILE I figured that as well. Right now I got stock 65a front and 75a rear. Will get my riptide bushings this Saturday and will make the switch. Hopefully that will make the difference
I just got my major last week and the bottom of my feet hurt like crazy I bought vans shoes and hoka shoes and it kills the bottoms of my feet…I must keep trying to work my feet muscles that’s never been worked before
I've been wearing altra lone peak or road shoes which seem to work pretty well. My vans don't seem to be a cushy. I move my feet around on the board a lot, perhaps the movement might help alleviate if your riding static?
Should be white in the back and black up front. Seems like your board has a semi soft rear and the softest of bushings up front. You're going to potentially have a squirrelly ride bro! Swap black to front and go find some white bushings on the rear or white rear and orange front.
@@COYOTEEXILE I want mine set up like yours, so what color do you have in the back and front ? I see you riding so smooth on your Major but when I try to leave my neighborhood to ride around downtown Raleigh NC it’s so squirrely! I just turns all the time and hard to stay in a straight line
Black front and white rear. I tightened up my trucks I think by 3 turns to the right. That seems to help a lot with the squirrelly ride. Under the trucks the two 4 mm Allen bolts, turn them a rotation and adjust more or less from there. The trucks come super loose from the manufacturer.
@@COYOTEEXILE outstanding! I’ll try this …you should do a video of how to tighten trucks on the Major because I’ve searched everywhere online an there is no video on how to tighten trucks on a Major….I’m new to electric skateboards so I think that would help many people learn to tighten them …my board came with all 4 tires very loose so I had to tighten everything down before riding it…
@scottyW I was just thinking of that while responding. Sadly these boards come with zero instructions, which is crazy! They send these trucks so incredibly loose I'd be worried about an injury lawsuit so at least a warning with instructions would seem to make sense 🤷🏼♂️
Get the feeling the Acedeck N3 is the lorentz major killer. Better spec'd, slightly larger battery and $1,000 cheaper. Wonder how Lorentz will respond..
I'm feeling the same way. LM has the lights, lasers and fenders and fast charger. Also the best off road wheels and tires option on the market but you've gotta pay $$$ for them! Trucks probably better overall but the N3 is for sure a strong competitor. N3 is more of a street board while the LM can be a street and fire road capable board.
How do you mean better spec'd? It has smaller motors, not as good battery cells, bad remote, slow charger, and it's not really off-road capable like the Major. Get what you pay for I think. It's a nice board but Major is premium
@@CLSmith-dr9yc you must be looking at the wrong specs page. acedeck n3 actually has bigger motors and slightly bigger battery. you want the elite version, which is the one 1000 cheaper than the lorentz. I'd personally rather save 1000 bucks instead of having a fast charger. And its not like you can take these boards on mountain bike trails. I use my mountain bike for trails. Most people who "use the board offroad" are really just going over some grass or gravel 🤣I'm just wondering if Lorentz will respond by a price decrease or by improving the major even further to justify the price. Hope we see some cool new boards in 2024!
@mikeyp8778 am I? I see 6890 for N3 vs 7185 for Major. Lower top speed as well. It's a cool board but using Samsung 50E instead of 50S is a serious downgrade. I guess people can decide if it's worth the savings.
Howdy Jeff...the Major is the perfect board for you up there in those mountains...Thanks for sharing your esk8 adventures...🖐
It takes a beast of a board to handle the roads around here. Thank you for watching and the comments as always 😎
The major is amazing man ive been loving mine! Ive been riding it to work everyday i cant get enough of it🤣
It's a solid commuter board. One that allows you to go the long way there and back...

just a heads up that the last 11 minutes of the video is black screen / no audio
That's crazy why it uploaded with an extra 11 minutes! I'll edit that out soon. Thank you for letting me know.

I wear asic running shoes. Nice and comfy
Try balancing your wheels with stick on weights ..Most wheels are at least 10g out of balance & that transmits to foot fatigue...😩
They sent me my board with green bushings in front and black bushings in the back and I have no idea what they mean
