Dave looks fantastic, great job
It looks very natural, nice job Dave
Very nice. It's going to look great when you add ground cover.
Wow looks fantastic! Can’t wait to see grass and trees added!
Looks great. I do the same on my rocks. Great video
A rock star is born! I do like the way it's going so onward and upward, dame the torpedo's full speed ahead. Jersey Bill
Looking good 👍
Very nice job on the mountain. You have talent for scenery! Watching the process to repeat on my layout!
Cool technique, lots of trial and error, but we always get there! Nice work, Dave.
Hey Dave..! Love your techniques.. It’s always good looking on a budget.. Yes there is always a more expensive but perfect way to do something, but I’m a Senior on a fixed income so bravo..! Besides I try to remember the best rule of Model Railroading, “It’s my railway, so it’s done my way..!”. Keep the great videos coming..
It looks great. And, Yes, one always finds fault with their own work.
Rockwork is looking good Dave, as you said, once you start adding the greenery etc, it'll bring it to life as it were. Keep on, keepin' on.
You are like Bob Ross. (A late great lanscpe artist)
really like the effects you achieved.
Ben Scott looking good.
It came out great love it
Looking great Dave.
We all do similar takes on the same basic theory.
For The final dry brush, I use quite a stiff flat brush and a white grey.
Similar end result, but it's interesting that we all find different ways to achieve the same affect.
I think that you're right in thinking that white is too bright.
Looking forward to seeing the other cutting matching with the mountain.
Happy Modelling
Great video the bob Ross of model trains and scenery
Mr. Scott I think you do a wonderful job on the painting. Love the mountain.
Looks great, Dave. You've got the knack.
I am very impressed, wish I had that kind of talent.
Very nice! For top of mountain you could do a little bit of snow. Not a lot, just a little at the top to help show altitude.
"Man on the Silver Mountain", the Bob Ross of Canada does it again. More happy accidents. :)
magnificent!
L😃😃KING GOOD!!!!
I guess you won't be at St Thomas after all! Looked for you there, but didn't see you. I will name the purchase I made after you then.
The peak makes me think of a former volcano that's dead now.
The rocks look they come from northern Ontario. Some where around Cochran Ontario.
Very "artistique" 🤘
All it needs now is drill marks when they were cutting the rock or did they blast the rock face?.... I'm so glad that I am not doing scenery on my layout.. lol..
I got a great name for your mountain give it the name of kicking horse pass
How would it work to put your paint in a spray bottle and spirits it on ?
My little spray gun is not powerful enough to something this big.
Very realistic terydactal poo on your layout, Dave, lol
Well spotted.
Mount Scott?
Are you going to call this Scott Rock, Dave?Lol
