That lake looks absolutely beautiful. Lots of fun to watch you guys haul in your limit. I've never fished for Kokanee before, it must be a western US species of salmon. How do you cook them? Do you smoke them?
You can cook them just like a trout, fried, smoked, I have even had them deep fried. Great tasting fish. If you like salmon you will love these because they are a salmon just smaller.
Nice haul!
Good to see your gang back at the lake. Fished East lake many times. Thanks for sharing information on jig's.
Love that lake. They changed the limit this year to 10 but only 5 can be trout. So you could have kept 10 Kokanee if you wanted
The way the regulations were written up we were not sure so we just played it safe.
Always better safe then sorry but now you know for next time you get into a good bite. I can’t wait to get up there next month
Nice work! And those views and beautiful.
Hope to try it on this lake sometime. Beautiful lakes! Nice when the winds not blowing!
