Loooove Falernum! Great recipe! I'm glad your recipe makes a smaller batch! it makes sense when using fresh ingredients since they don't last as long. I've actually never compared keylimes to regular limes haha... now I'm curious! :P ..Congrats on 300 subs!
Thank you! I don’t make that many tiki drinks at home, so I figured I’d start small- especially since it’s not as shelf stable as yours. This was actually my first time making Falernum and I really am impressed with how it turned out.
A.E.S.T.H.E.T.I.C. Totally mesmerised by the process as always Wee Pearl. The way you scatter your ingredients for the shots is absolutely perfect, saying that from experience!
I saw your comment on another channel, and just HAD to click it and see where it would lead. I needed to find this channel! haha! Cheers from Canada! =)
I came across your falernum recipe today, it was recommended by RUclips 😊 so I said to me, I have to click on the video, which I haven’t regretted ❤ I love the detailed explanations and your calming voice 😊 I was not aware of the using of the nutmeg, but I will definitely try it, as soon as possible. Congratulations on a gorgeous video 😊❤
Finding myself wondering if it would be possible to make a zero proof version using the glycerine extraction method you’ve used in some of your other videos, in place of the rum. I might try!
That’s such a great idea! Please keep me updated on how it turns out! You can probably make a lime/ ginger cordial and blend it with the glycerine extraction.
Beautiful video and great recipe! Will definitely give it a try cause store-bought falernum is OK, but I agree that you can still tell it's a bit artificial. Subscribed :)
Great video! Is it really just three ounces of rum? I followed this recipe and the rum doesn't nearly cover the zest/almonds/nutmeg/cloves in the jar. Yours looks like way more than three ounces in the video?
What is the best cocktail with Falernum?
I had never heard of it before your video
I really like a Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, but also Corn 'n' Oil is one of my favorite very simple-to-make drinks.
@@FrobozzElectric oh I definitely want to try this in a corn n oil. It’ll really let the falernum shine!
@@TheWeePearl What rum do you think you'll use?
@@FrobozzElectric probably plantation XO and for the float I’ll use cruzan black strap
Thanks for the mention and link in the comments :) ...I will add yours to my video as well!
You got it!
Great video! Recipe/process and instructions: A+. Video quality: A+. Pleasant and cathartic presentation: A+.
Thank you so much! 🙏😊
Impressive... you make it look simple.
Thanks Don- it really is simple, and the pay off is great!
Outstanding recipe! I have used key limes in the past with great success. Your detailed description of the process and recipe is just excellent.
Thank you! I think the key limes add a little something special to the falernum. Thank you so much for watching 😊
Great video explaining the recipe with tips and tricks.
Thanks Stephane! It was my first time making Falernum. I really like the way it turned out. Thanks for tuning in
300 subs! Congrats! 🥂Here’s to a thousand times that number! You’ll get there soon.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your confidence my channel Thanks for sticking with us 🤩
Imma make your recipe as soon as I’m out of my current bottle! Saved for later! Thank you!
Awesome! Keep me posted on how you like it!
Interesting that it reminds you of Green Chartreuse. Such a distinctive taste. Great video again. It looks delicious.
I was also surprised- it’s not exactly like it, but reminiscent of it. Must be the clove. I’m really pleased with how it turned out
This was such a helpful video for me!! I learned so much!! Excellent video!! Thanks so much!! 🙂

How many ounces did this yield you? Or what's the quantity of the final bottle?
Beautiful video and great recipe! Will definitely give it a try cause store-bought falernum is OK, but I agree that you can still tell it's a bit artificial. Subscribed :)
Thank you so much! You are too kind. Store bought gets the job done, but homemade always wins! Thank you for subscribing 😊
How long does it last?
Mine is still good after a year. Though I ended up straining out the sediment after 6 months.
@@TheWeePearl Thank you can't wait to try it

Hello and thank you! Yes I only used 3 oz, but my key limes were very tiny and didn’t yield that much zest.
What is the shelf life ?
Great question! I’ve kept mine in the refrigerator for a year
I wonder if you use Super juice instead of fresh limes that it will increase the shelf life
I’m sure it would, but not for much longer.
Notification crew is here
Great work, my friend. Always a 5 ⭐ video!!
Woot woot! Thanks for watching my friend! 🙏
Maybe stick a little bit back from your microphone next time haha doesn't have to be an ASMR
BarbEdos? Wow. New limits of mispronunciation in cocktails
