- On Sunday morning Duke University will award nearly 7,000 graduates during its annual commencement ceremony. Legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld, father of a current Duke student, will be the commencement speaker.
I'm glad the Dukies as a whole treated Jerry with respect.

Nope. Plenty of us have amazing jobs and support Palestine. Once the entire world realizes it you all who support Israel will lose your jobs. Imagine supporting modern day nazis. Look at how public opinion for Israel has been diminishing in USA. I never saw the USA change its stance on Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. when we went to war with them?

I do not watch a lot of Seinfeld, but I definitely would of stay for commencement speech. Seinfeld has nothing to do with world affairs.
Well being that he is overtly supporting Israel in the conflict, which is alleged to be massacring innocent civilians and he has an Honorary Doctorate of Human Letters (The degree of Doctor of Humane Letters is an honorary degree awarded to those who have distinguished themselves through humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to society.) Would be highly disrespectful to those opposing the alleged “genocide”.

I understand Jerry Seinfeld's public support for Israel and, in particular, his quest for the release of Israeli hostages being held by Hamas. Nonetheless, the flip side of this conflict is the genocide being conducted by the Israeli military forces against the Palestinian civilians. If I had been attending the graduation ceremony, I think that I, too, would have walked out. Not to protest Jerry Seinfeld, but as a show of support for the innocent Palestinians.
Yes the hostages need to be rescued but how idf has bombed Gaza to oblivion and show no interest in saving the hostages ,they've already assassinated a few trying to be rescued and Israeli media is lying there asses off about everything so and Hamas offered to surrender all hostages after Oct 7 but Israel said no
