    Love this analysis. Just wish he didn't rush over the quotes. A great legacy to leave this behind.

    Always preferred Twelfth Night, As You Like It, and Much Ado to this comedy; of course the best humor is in the Falstaff plays.
    it's the individual quotes that make this play, language over plot and character delineation.

    Great lecture. But every time he says courtly love, I hear Courtney Love. And wonder when she started doing Shakespeare. 😆

    "women's parts, you'll never see better" is a bit of a private joke, which some of the class seems to have gotten.
