The association between Pappy and the Corsair is so strong it is easy to forget he started out the war flying the Warhawk. It turned out great!

Very nice work indeed, what an excellent build. Top marks for your splendid work in the cockpit area! 👍
Hi there Fab your P40 looks fantastic amazing detail in the cockpit, there as been quite a few aircraft over the years that have had sharks teeth painted on the nose but it always looks the best on a P40. yours Steve.....
Thank you so very much Jack for these kind words and support not a pro work but i really enjoyed building this fantastic warbird
little known fact! they were changing spinner colors on a regular basis.nothing organized just crew chiefs and pilots! made the Japanese think their were more planes and squadrons than there actually was! early impromptu psyopps!!
Thanks for providing the link to this, Fab, greatly appreciated! Stunning build that you have there....she turned out beautifully! Two thumbs up....if I had three thumbs, I'd include the third one, too! : )

Very nice work on the P-40B. My uncle might have dropped supplies to your grandpa during WW II. He was a flight engineer/ top turret gunner for the 492nd BG for 35 missions.
Great job on the model it looks fabulous mate!
