  • The Perfect False Shuffle | Tutorial | The Faro Shuffle.
    This shuffle is a very difficult one to learn; but with practice & patience it can be accomplished, & the cards can be made to fly up alternately, without any chance of failure. It must not be thought that this manipulative device is essentially a trick for cheating; on the contrary, it is an exceedingly fair & honest shuffle, provided that there is no previous arrangment of the cards. Everything that we discussed today is basic material found in the book ECT, reference is below.

    I would argue that a faro shuffle is a 52 card control.Mnemonica stack is by far the greatest idea in my opinion to come from a faro shuffle

      Yes, your right. Technically it's a controlled shuffle. But for search optimization on youtube "false shuffle" is a more searchable term.

    Excellent work as always! 👏👏 I struggle with making my tabled faro actually look like a riffle shuffle, rather than a in the hands faro done on the table (if that makes sense). But it is a notoriously hard move, so I'll probably get it down in a couple of years or so, or at least in a decade 😅

      @Max Masteller Good point! Do you mean only the faro for two hours or card work in general + faro?

    • @e.s.andrews1702
      @e.s.andrews1702  Год назад +1

      Ok, first. It takes practice, give it time. Second, if you apply too much pressure the cards will bend, too little pressure & the cards will interlace in clumps. Getting the correct pressure from the back to the front is key. It helps if the cards are traditionally cut & fairly new. Hope it helps.

      @@e.s.andrews1702 yep. It's kinda difficult in term of "the pressure" towards mycards. And my cards kinda little thick. Any suggestion for thick cards? (Expecially tarot cards). I always practice everyday...i think i need pay attention towards the pressure of the cards. Thanks for your replay...Have a good day...
