I love this band. I sometimes wonder if their football team appreciates having such amazing band playing at the games, or are they like my district that the band is not recognized.
I wish someone had a recording of a halftime performance at a Hebron football game to see the reaction of the people who came for the football and not the band.
Before high school I had no idea about Hebron, I just knew there band was good cause my cousin went, last year was my freshman year and I got to see it in person I was just amazed and that was pretty much my reaction lol
5:00 - this hit is amazing, also this is the first time i heard the full soprano solo during the hit and...dang thats crazy. then theres the dude shredding his trombone solo and it sounds sick. in other words, hebron is cracked. good job guys.
We’re the top 3 in state every year and better than all the sports at our school and we still get no recognition we also won two of our competitions and they shouted us out once but every Friday they shout out every single sport even if they get last place
I’m so glad I can flex that the show writer who made this show and flower mound is the same one that is doing my indoor winds show and he also did our 2021 marching show
The fact this is the year a lot of schools in Texas did online learning just shows how mins blowing this band really is even on the down time of a century
Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see them if we make state in 2024, I’d love to witness this in person. We should’ve had a chance to make it this year but we got screwed over a bit.
@@_I_like_music I honestly think Hebron would have edged Broken Arrow, Hebron had a much more demanding musical selection and they just seemed overall cleaner. Broken Arrow’s record shattering Grand Nationals run vs Hebron’s legendary UIL State Championships run… so close, so amazing, LOVE 2021 Marching Band.
I’m genuinely convinced that this is musically the most insane high school marching show of all time. Musically, this shouldn’t be possible. I mean FFS there are FRESHMAN DOING THIS!!!! LITERAL 13 - 14 YEAR OLDS. This shouldn’t be possible. Bare in mind some of these kids only have 4 years of instrument experience. Take that. Soak that in. And realize that this band is genuinely comprised of musical prodigies
Considering Hebron alone, sends THE most students to the Texas State Honor Band almost every year which is one of the most prodigious band programs in all of Texas. You also have to factor in that many of these freshman's- seniors do take private tutors/ sessions very seriously.
My band director the week before BOA said he was watching marching bands to get ideas and then he saw Hebron band and got really mad and then he ranted to us about the Hebron band like they were the steroid using athletes of the marching band world or something lol. I think they’re tremendous and I don’t know if I’d want to take band this seriously but I think it’s funny how worked up my band director got just by watching their band. He was so jelly
Yeah, Hebron is amazing to see. My freshman year, so the past year, the first game we played our competition show for was a disaster. Like, half the band miscounted a section and you could just feel the panic ripple through everyone since we thought we missed a set. Of course, that game was against Hebron. I vividly remember someone in my band screaming “They killed the marching panthers!” and it was true lmao. Hebron is terrifyingly good
Bro 🥲I come from a lil band in Mississippi of 60 kids max this is my DREAM. I made a drum core this past summer and omggggg it was the best experience. I would do anything to be a part of a highschool band like that
I wish I went to Hebron, all my life I've wanted to do band, ever since I was a little kid and saw my first show, I knew I wanted to do it. just sucks that I cant go to a school that has a good band and good program
Hey DCI... maybe you should try adding woodwinds to your shows? Absolutely amazing musical performance Hebron! The most complete High School band I've ever seen!! Kudos to the hard work and dedication that made this possible!!
I've always wanted to March a show like this, my only option really is to move on to dci, my current band director has ran our program into the ground. out of 30, 26 people are quitting. I'm gonna try to get a year of wgi in next year, I missed the opportunity for this year.
At Vanguard (a lot of programs take inspiration from them and other corps), the trumpets slightly push out their third valve slides and when they "snap" their horns up, they bring it in, rapidly, causing the click sound.
@@Jacobflint21 More specifically, all of the energy is in the left arm, and the slides naturally flex out and come back in with the hair ties connected to the first and third valve rings. There's no "prepping" of the third valve slide.

This is so true.

The soloists sound like professional musicians. Outstanding performance.
I have dreams of doing DCI in the future and then I see stuff like this, and wonder how I’ll ever compete with these kids
Trust me man, I marched four seasons of Top 12 DCI and I came from a very sub par high school program. All you gotta do is put in the work
@@jtrainn423 thank you :) the one thing I know I excel at is dedication. Where did you march?
My band competes in the same area as us and while it seems like they’re 10x better than us at least we still have multiple seniors march dci each year
