Nice transcription! I’m not sure how I feel about this writing though, the 3’s after the paradiddle at 4:00 feel kinda out of place with the rest of the book which popped out to me, and the playing is also kinda nonstop and doesn’t utilize space very well imo Feels kinda dense in the writing but not in reference to the actual stuff being played if that makes sense. Still better than what I can write and was played really well
This is probably what placed them 6th in Battery at State. It’s incredible, like the entire band, but your reasoning is probably what Jeff scored it so “low” for.
i think the blue uniforms are their ball game uniforms and the grey ones are competition uniforms, might have it flipped around but thats the reasoning for different uniforms
Good show good music. But there need to be an actual sound difference from your accent and taps 9" and 6" are ok but your 3" taps are a goo 4.5 to 5" tap. More fine finger control is needed on the low stuff. Parradiddle-diddle P(9') arradiddle-diddle(3') NOT 9" and 5". this is thru the whole line i can see.
Sometimes when playing through a 300+ brass/woodwind line without scoops, you have to play everything with higher heights in order to cut through for not only balance between the battery to winds, but also so the front ensemble can hear time so they can at least have a chance of playing in time in relation to what’s given by battery so there are no tears.
Subscribe to No Common Sense because he forced me to do this
Your welcome
From Hebron. Nice work! You got literally 99.99% right just maybe one or two wrong rhythms and stickings but other than that great job
Hey big fan of your guy's show do you have tenor sheet music by chance? I would understand if you aren’t allowed to share that.
@@aidensiebenthal750 I think it’s on musescore
Bro really said "here, play the entire time"
There was actually a lot of rests written in on the original music. Throughout the season we added parts in to help keep time with the band.
Ah yes the high school that kicked everyone’s ass at bands of America. Their opening hit was tangible

Why do you have those blue uniforms
The person who posted this isnt from Hebron. ask someone from Hebron.
i think the blue uniforms are their ball game uniforms and the grey ones are competition uniforms, might have it flipped around but thats the reasoning for different uniforms
They’re the football game uniforms
@@haydenschroeder4703 i think they look better then there competiton uniforms
@@unknownunknown-wz2fg I 10000% agree. Those comp uniforms get really dirty really fast cause they’re lighter color.

wow, I forgot how bad our snare line is. tempo was way to slow for this show and we can’t play in time.
Bro what
@@peterstenberg3812 I think they’re saying their snare line is playing out of time and is too slow.
Bro, you realize that your snare line is better then about 85-95% of highschool bands in America right😮💨

god im sorry but that tenor tuning is NOT it
Fr
Yea throughout the season we really only cared about the tuning for competitions. For football games we didn’t care much :/
