Honestly, this would be the vocal register of a black hole, if a black hole could sing. Supposedly if two black holes were to merge, it would resonate with a squeezing and stretching of space. What better music to fit such an event than the resonant, powerful vocals of a Russian Oktavist choir?
Actually- This is Vladimir Pasjukov singing 'Contra Bass' on "We Praise Thee" composed by Pavel Chesnykov. [ Check it out on Y'Yube..St Petersburg Choir ' WE PRAISE THEE' it's far better sound repro' on there & much more rich &full.] Jus for the record ;- Octavists can reach very low notes, but their notes lack resonance, a Contra Bass can produce resonance & artistry of expression on very low notes ,just like Vladimir on this track.
@Steven Criscione well, the thing is, just hitting it isn't enough. You need to be able to sustain it and sound "good". Most of the time, if you're able to do that, you also have more notes downwards.
Hanz Zimmer usually does sound design and ambience rather than music now days. I think that batman movie, that had the joker, sounds empty and colorless with the sound it has (can't call it music).
Hi Natheniel. Thank you for the comment on Grofé's 'Grand Canyon suite'. I will check out my files to see if I can find the answer to your question. Best, NMS.
Actually the event horizon of a very massive black hole is far outside the spaghettification radius. In other words for a sufficiently large (massive) BH, you would not notice you had passed the point of no gravitational escape
Damn Hans Zimmer missed out an opportunity
Good pfp
This definitely fit very very well with the scene. I was convinced this was the ORIGINAL

@@ericashmusic8889 thanks for doing it so that I don't have to
And if Black Holes actually existed as anything but a relativity counter-proof from the 1890s.
@@ericashmusic8889 Thank you for letting me know!
Hans Zimmer watching this and thinking "dammit, that's how I would have won the oscar..."
That's tight, would be so cool if it was in the movie
I was proud of my B1 a min ago

Bro same.

Владимир Павлович Пасюков - Тебе Поем (П.Г.Чесноков)
Vladimir Pasyukov!
Господи как эпично это звучит в контексте отрывка из интерстеллара
This song fits this scene
Check out Vladimir Pasyukov's singing. He was one of a kind.
He was remarkable! Among the greatest, arguably THE greatest, of the oktavists.
Pasjukov :)
true
That is beautiful
Tebe Poem, lower than ever.
Sheeeesshhh!!! I was NOT expecting that
Это несравненный Пасюков Владимир Павлович! Царство ему Небесное!

Interstellar
Детские игрушки, легкие гримасы. Они бы уже давно разлетелись на атомы.
