As the defendant said in the Hallway "If she would have seen the video of the appartment." YEAH I WAS WAITING FOR THAT TOO! I love Judge Milian, but if the plaintiff claims (with pictures) "Here's how she damaged the place judge" and the defendant says "I have video that shows I didn't leave it like that" in my mind, she's contesting his claim and her evidance should not only be seen, but should definitely be taken into consideration. I'm glad they're both going to just move on, but why was this evidance not even (seemingly) considered?
All of these shows are edited for content/tv. Defendants say all the time they have some magic evidence that will exonerate/clear up/explain their side. She was inconsistent on nearly everything, she cut the grass in July and received reduced rent, but yet claimed it in her countersuit. She tried to charge $150 a day for 3 days to clean an apartment. She sent a text message on 9/28 stating that she was going to leave and pay October's rent, she didn't pay October rent and she didn't leave until November. Late fees, not paying rent on time, there was no consistency in her story that could explain all of these issues.
They most likely did go over the video but there was probably nothing that proved what she claimed. Especially when all her statements before and after were crumbling apart. The case was already running pretty long so they cut it for time.
Doesn't look like she ever found the video in time. She knew she was going to court, she should've had her evidence ready. The court isn't going to wait all day for her to find it.🤦♀️
If he had given her a check or money order with word loan on memo line, this episode wouldn't exist. Also, she wouldn't have taken the check/money order because she wouldn't want him to have proof of the loan.

Wow, that defendant will do and say virtually anything to avoid giving a direct and honest answer to a question. Do you have proof of what you say " ... " Yes " ... " Show it to me " ... " I don't have it ".
its crazy to think that some people can't afford 600 dollar rent for an apartment when an apartment where I live is 1200 minimum! if my rent was 600 dollars, I would probably have about 4 apartments by now!
When she said 600 I’m like fr ? Where I live you could only rent a room for that cheap 😂 But in reality places with cheap rent always have really low minimum wage so typically it’s the same struggle
MrDavidKen77 i’m not talking about financial stability. I’m talking about the different in prices in the rental market. The crazy part is that 600 will get you a whole in the wall where i live but 600 might get you a luxury 3 bedroom condo somewhere else ....
Me too. I would definitely go to her. I would never, ever go to Judge Judy. Between her biased behavior, not letting claimants speak (and I'm referring to material facts), being inconsistent, and not following the law. And you can't appeal.
The judge was actually VERY generous to her in letting her have back her deposit because in the same text that she says she will pay October she clearly says, "Keep the deposit." in it. So she didn't have to give it back to her. So this chick tried to give the judge evidence she didn't have AND made her case look worse for herself in the process. Haha.
From what I know its actually illegal for you to forfeit your deposit willingly. She was rewarded on the back end but was only credited it because of that. She technically still lost her deposit
@@aminam4405 Illegal to forfeit your deposit? Really? I've never heard of that. I know of a few people who have forfeit theirs because they didn't want to mess with the people they were renting from any longer than they had to. I wonder if that is a state by state rule and not all states are like that? Or maybe the people I know of just had shady landlords who didn't care? Idk. Haha.
@@melaniem4798 when tenants move out without a notice, they "forfeit" the deposit. In that case the deposit covers the last month the notice period was expected. You have to pay rent for the month you give notice to vacate. This tenant did neither. I think the judge applied her deposit to the balance owed to the landlord which is what should be done anyway.
The defendant was giving him her sad story because she was looking for him to give her money. Clearly the guy thought that she was going to pay him back when she got on her feet but she feels like it’s a gift like somebody’s just gonna give her thousands of dollars. She was trying to get her story straight with all of the messages by constantly telling him she didn’t ask him. Doesn’t matter if she asked him, she knew what she was doing.
"That's a lie." She's so quick to say that in response to anything. He didn't go and put holes in his apartment walls in the CHANCE that he might get a judgement for it (at which point, he'd still have to waste time fixing it). I think CPS needs to check out her family. There appears to be a lot of violence in that family.
@@leetakamiya Around The same time when she says “I’m subtracting from this figure [the amount she owes him] $300 cleaning credit and $600 security deposit.”

I love how Doug cracks up at the end. He knows how ridiculous these people are
I love they brought him back!
She gave him a lil "something" . Gave him a sob story. She knew he had money. He's weak.
Defendants voice is like nails on a chalkboard 😩😩 idk if I can even finish watching!
Lol
I needed my Judge Millian fix for the day, you came through --- yaay!!
This person is the kind that always has problems. And everyone has to help
It kills me when they file a counterclaim. Like come on, your a$$ wasn't out any money!
Sometimes they are. In fact, I love it when she finds a net judgment in favour of the defendant, because the plaintiff had a real gall suing at all.
😂😂😂😂 Judge Milian is hilarious. I love her
Geez people are dumbasz and they think we belive them. This girl answers no questions and dances around everything, no wonder she's ends up in court.
Cassie Shaffer , amen! She would make a fantastic politician 😆
The defendant is completely grueling. Just rambles in that nasally voice. A walking headache.
The judge makeup and hair is on point in this court case. Ok judge. The makeup artist put some effort into this look
This is why a few moments of pleasure can screw up your life.
Exactly!
Anytime someone rambles on with unrelated info like this girl did they're lying!
The lady in green in the audience has me so distracted because it seems her false eyelash is giving her problems
After reading this, I couldn't see anything else...🤣🤣🤣its so distracting
Tukesiga Deborah I know! I don’t think I even heard the lady’s defence because I was so transfixed on the lady in green 😄😄
Those things are so big it’s weighing her darn eyelids down...
Her nails are much longer than the long lashes! 😂
Those things weigh so much.. Hell, I'm surprised she can even open her eyes. 😆 lol
Omg, it's always somebody else fought with her. She's not accountable for anything that she does, smh!!!
Fault*
I swear the defendant is a terrible liar. She's honestly a sad person. 😂
I feel like this was a super-uncomplicated case that Judge Milian let go on and on and on.
Oh look a single mom with 2 kids by 2 different fathers in toxic relationships that used ANOTHER man kindness to help her money issues.
WHO WOULD OF GUSSED
She likely didn't find the video, honestly.
OMG, I swear that I have seen this girls post on a FB feed with her walking around her destroyed apartment going room to room crying about being in a abusive relationship. She was holding a baby no more then 1 yr old.
I recall seeing it early last year.
Damn
Holy crap! That is her!
@@MrDgfresh83
Yep, while watching this PC I kept thinking she looked so familiar to me then it dawned on me where I had seen her before. And sure enough I went back to my YT history and found her video. I am posting this comment in 2024 so it's like 3 or 4 yrs after the fact but your seeing comment today reminded me of this story from way back then. People are crazy the way they put their drama on display like this just for attention or money. 🙄
Thank you for posting this episode.....hello to all of the positive people.....
Judge Marilyn's hair is on point!! Looking good 👍😎
I love that color!
I thinj it depends on what state.
When she said 600 I’m like fr ? Where I live you could only rent a room for that cheap 😂
But in reality places with cheap rent always have really low minimum wage so typically it’s the same struggle
How is it crazy that you are more financially able than others?
MrDavidKen77 i’m not talking about financial stability. I’m talking about the different in prices in the rental market. The crazy part is that 600 will get you a whole in the wall where i live but 600 might get you a luxury 3 bedroom condo somewhere else ....
@@notoldimvintage3349 “all bills paid”, does that mean utilities are included in your rent?? If so, I’m moving to Texas! 😆
I love this judge. If I'm ever being sued I hope she's my judge. Win or lose.
Me too. I would definitely go to her. I would never, ever go to Judge Judy. Between her biased behavior, not letting claimants speak (and I'm referring to material facts), being inconsistent, and not following the law. And you can't appeal.
She's the only reason I watch this show.
I desperately want the job of being the voice that introduces the cases at the beginning.
Ok, in general the plural form of text will also be text.
However, in more specific contexts, the plural form can also be texts, but never texas!
And this my friends, is why you ALWAYS have a good contract for every deal you have lmao. Especially dealing with money.
the young lady in the green had me cryingggggg with her facial expressions! she was my mood the entire hearing 🤣❤️
it is extremely irritating for so many people to come on and be asked to show proof and they act as if the don’t comprehend
Homeboy setting with her just got out and is realizing she not good for his parole
😂
💀😂😂😂
Yep! Watching his face!😂
I think when people show themselves to be liars, in court, they shouldn't get any breaks.
This case gave me a headache...
We never got to see the video of the sink 😄
That's one hell of a judge lightning quick
The Gal in the Audience behind the Defendant, her Nails look Crazy!
The narrator is always so over the top when introducing these cases, I can't take it 😂
The dude at the end is so incredibly shady😂😂 he like RUBS IT INNNNNN as much as he possibly can 😂🤦🏽♀️
Thank you for uploading episodes!
I like this judge, please keep it up.
No good deed goes unpunished.
I don't understand how she got back her security, with so much damage to the apartment?
23:00 JM says she's allowing $1k for damages. What are you talking about?
@@leetakamiya Around The same time when she says “I’m subtracting from this figure [the amount she owes him] $300 cleaning credit and $600 security deposit.”
@@bjaxstriker5245 All this means is that she paid $900 in and did $1000 in damages, not that she’s getting her deposit back.
@@leetakamiya The deposit was $600. The $600 that the judge subtracted is the deposit. Not getting her deposit back would be paying the $600.
@@bjaxstriker5245 She PAID the $600. She gets credit for that. She has to pay for damages IN EXCESS of that amount. She’s not getting it back, she is being credited for paying that amount. This is so simple that I refuse to spend any more time on it.
You can tell a person is lying the second they don’t answer your question directly and start vearing off talking about irrelevant things that don’t answer the question.
The narrator is messy, I love it!
Madam judge, very well done. A fair and reasonable case to all concern
I wouldn't give that defendant a virus.
I feel bad for her kids.
😂😂😂💯
Is it sad ive been watching this show since i was a kid and still love it lmao. Out of all the court shows this is my fav :)
This case is draining sigh...😳
I love the (music) at the beginning. Reminds me of the first Judge on People's Court. I think Judge Wapner.
I thought I heard he was suing her for $5, I need sleep.
Lmao
She really asked her landlord to borrow money to pay for furniture and a tv? When I rented a place, the only furniture I had was a mattress to sleep on. And who watches tv? Everything is on a phone nowadays.
Bruh she not only had the landlord pay for her stuff and she also didn't pay for rent for months omg she crazy
Who doesnt need a tv nowaways with all the nintendo switches and xboxs these corporations drop every few years
@@sleepyym713 I haven't had a TV in years.
If someone rents an appartment and leaves it with new bumps and bruises everywhere,
and in court says "I don't know how it got there"
... yeah
Why you always lyin..🎼stop all the lying..🤷🏾♀️
Watch much Degeneration nation? It rocks..lol it’s Ma’am... MAAM😂
