So glad I found this video! I’ve been wanting one so I can make my own drinks instead of going to Starbucks. This video helped me pick which one I’m getting
I bought the Frappe Maker and it's totally worth the money. Also own an Instant Pod Coffee Maker and completely stopped buying coffee anywhere else.
Thanks for Sharing. I was wondering about that Instant pod Maker, should I do a review on it?
@@JustADad Sure! Had it for a year now. It's a more flexible brewer than I originally thought after experimenting with it. Like being able to add a shot of espresso directly into a brewed cup of coffee without any extra setup or mess. Add a reusable K Cup.
Really good comparison, very detailed, just a great review!
THANK YOU
I have the first one and it works great! Coffee is coffee.
So good!
I have the first one too I got it last week but he put 2 scoops of coffee grounds in the first one and I only put one scoop but I love my Mr.Coffee
love the pointing stick you use. I dunno it’s mesmerizing.
LOL that's my miniature bat, I loved baseball as a kid.
Lolol
To be honest, I've never understood these machines. The frappe one, sure I get that... but all these iced coffee makers on the market right now are just standard regular coffee makers marketed towards iced coffee drinkers, with instructions to use less water and brew over ice. I make iced coffee this exact same way in a standard mini coffee maker that cost less than ten dollars online. I suppose these do look nicer, though 🤷🏻♂️
That being said, I just recently found your channel and really enjoy your videos. Very thorough and detailed 👍
Thanks for watching, and yeah I agree it more for Convenience than anything.
My Iced coffee maker brews in 20, 30, or 40 minutes and it does not brew the coffee by heat. It spins the ground for how ever long you choose. (The longer it spins, the stronger the coffee) I also buy specific coarse ground coffee especially meant for iced brews. The taste is a world of difference. Heat brings out the acid in coffee and the cold method makes for a much sweeter, less bitter smooth drink. I bought the Cuisinart. It makes a difference. The only alternative is to brew in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
@@btdfw Yes, cold brew is different from iced coffee. The machine you have makes "cold brew". I'm specifically talking about the iced coffee machines, like the ones in this video, which brew exactly the same way as traditional hot drip coffee, but into ice so it instantly cools down. They charge a premium and market it in a way that makes consumers believe they're getting a special iced coffee machine, when it functions identically to a cheapo coffeemaker.
that frappe looks delicious
it is!!!!
I was so excited for this video
Your welcome, was it you that mentioned this. I loose track, but someone had a question about the differences.
@@JustADad yes it was me thank you soo much for making this video 😁
@@rachelb7817 Thank you!!!
OMG i love those tumblers
they come free with the mr coffee makers
They do?!😃
I looooove the first one. Deep water sections REALLY bother me when it comes to cleaning.. Which means it will never get cleaned lol
Thanks you helped me choose
Your So welcome!!! which one did you choose?
@@JustADad I bought the Mr Coffee iced and hot coffee, the middle one.
@@renphelpsz9383 you will love it. Thanks
By adding a bit of xanthan gum, it'll help the frappe from separating ❤, doesn't add to the taste at all

I didn't want to love it but your video making me want to have to buy it. Lol. Perfect video. Mr. Coffee needs to sponser you!
It's so good!
Do you get one yet? I just got mine today. It is half price which is 59$+tax in Canada. I am afraid of this plastic foundation. I want the standless one.
would like to know how they tasted the ice coffee with milk and the frap
you must be a drummer! may your diddles always be connected
No, I only played the piano and I was no good at it.
Cool content
Thanks so much for your kind words they really do mean so much
I have the ice coffee maker but I don’t have the scoop. How much coffee does the scoop hold?
I bought the iced coffee maker for under $20 at Walmart & my coffee taste burnt & very bitter. Using Seattle's best very vanilla. What am I doing wrong? Is the grind too fine? Please help! Using RO water(the best). Adding syrups & half&half but still is bitter tasting but not as intense.
So if the coffee maker has to brew it hot anyway, what is the advantage of one that has an "over iced" setting versus just a regular hot coffee maker? Seems like you could just make a darker hot cup to account for ice meltage. Just wondering if it's just marketing to get you to pay more for an iced maker?
Do you prefer Mr Coffee or the Instant iced coffee maker?
what is the exact name of the big one? so sad i can’t seem to find it to deliver to UK 😭
Mr Coffee Frappe
I bought the iced coffee maker, I haven't had a success yet. I'm not sure why but my ice coffee taste sour. Not sure if it's because of the bean I'm using or because I'm using nugget ice instead of those big ones. Any advice?
I'm using costco brand columbia coffee grinds. One scoop. measurements are the same.
I find that a good medium roast makes the best iced coffee, but I add milk and syrup for flavor to get rid of the bitterness. Not sure about the sour, Maybe someone can help, maybe try to add a little more coffee to make it stronger.
Depending on the brand milk /creamer you are using if you add it while the drink is at its hottest, that will cause a sour taste. Try stirring for a few more seconds before adding the dairy for the ice coffee. Maybe try a different brand of creamer/milk too...
@@rivelite Thanks
@@rivelite Thanks, unfortunately, I drink straight.

So they all have the same taste
Yes except the frappe is awsome.
If they all act like normal coffeemakers, couldn't you just buy the cheaper iced coffee maker over the iced & hot coffeemaker?
Yes, these just make it a little more simple to use.
The one with the frappe maker sounds mad aggressive
@just a deal you didn't save room in the frappe to add whipped cream!!!
LOL
