- How to make a caramel frappe, one that taste just like McDonald's but made in the comfort of home, and much more budget friendly.
Ingredients needed:
-Coffee
-Caramel
-Milk
-Whip Cream
Steps: (7 frozen coffee cubes = 1 frappe)
1. Brew a 4-cup pot of coffee.
2. Pour entire coffee pot into a ice cube tray.
3. Once coffee cubes are frozen, place in blender. 7 frozen coffee cubes per frappe, or the entire tray of 14 for two frappes.
4. Add milk into blender with the frozen coffee cubes. 1/2 cup of milk per 7 ice cubes, so 1 cup of milk for an entire tray.
5. Add caramel into blender as well, add according to desired taste.
6. Blend.
7. Serve into a glass, top with whip cream, and extra caramel drizzle.
ENJOY!
Added some coffee creamer as well and this proved to be a better recipe/technique than the frappe video with 1.5 million views imo.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed!
Hi! Add into ice cube or blender when making frappe?
How long you let your ice cubes stay in freezer.
Exactly what I was looking for!! I wanted to see a video for a caramel frappe that did NOT call for ice cream!! Thank you! :)
Hope you enjoy!
I’m so glad I found this video! Very simple and to the point. Thank you!!!

Thanks you thank you thank you!!!!!!!

Or how many scoops of coffe do u add
am going to make on
Do it! 😜
That was easy
Definatily!
Do I add sugar when making the coffee?
That's personal preference, you certainly can!
Is it okay if I put normal ice and just add liquid coffee??
My concern would be that the ice would make it watery. I havent tried it that way so let me know :)
Oki thank you ☺
Think I'll stick with McDonald's caramel frappe.
Does it taste like Carmel frappe?
Well, obviously! lol
How much coffe do you add?
I just made a standard pot of coffee and followed the instructions on the coffee I bought. I believe its 2 heavy tbsp per 4 cup, or 4 heavy tbsp per 8 cup. Will depend on size of your coffee machine, and desired strength. See side of your coffee container for instructions. Hope that helps!
If you want it to be more like contcrete ice cream add some xanthum gum
Can you add sugar to the coffee?
Add in the sugar during the blending phase. Hope this helped!
How many hours in the freezer
As long as it takes for the coffee to freeze into cubes. I do it at night so its ready for my morning coffee.
Ok will do
This how you do a video, straight to the point & not a lot of extras.
Agreed!
That’s more like a coffee Slush
Tomato tamato 😉
the ice cubes are hard as stone. This didn’t work for me.
Any blender should be capable of blending ice cubes, sorry you struggled!
😅😅😅McDonald's GONNA SUE Y'ALL STEALING THEIR RECIPE😅😅😅😅
Shhhh! I won't tell if you don't 😉
