I'd rather sit in the back with the DVD player. You can have shotgun all you want if were riding in this thing ha ha. I happen to like the chrome on the grille. It's actually what drew me to the vehicle. Everyone has their own opinion, but I love everything about this truck. Nice review.
the chrome in the front might be junk. however my wife hit a deer with it going about 30 mph and the front still looked shiny and intact. cant say the same about the deer though. conclusion; front end, no damage, deer is venison.
I don't know why people keep saying this nearly 5,000 pound SUV is a crossover? Put side by side with a Yukon Denali and there isn't that much difference in size. I'm not talking about the Yukon XL, just the regular Yukon or Yukon Denali. My old 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4 only weighed 4300 pounds, which is 600-700 pounds lighter than the Acadia and it's smaller too. Why isn't the Explorer called a cross over then? This is an SUV.
Whats SHOCKING is that the Acadia Denali LOADED is just about the same price as a Durango Citadel fully loaded. This truck is EONS ahead of Dodge when it comes to quality, power, reliability, braking, looks and resale value. I own a Traverse but I think my next vehicle will have to be an Acadia Denali. BEAUTIFUL truck!
Damn $50k! The smart thing to do would be to wait a couple of years & buy a certified pre owned Denali with low mileage & you'll save yourself $15-20k depending on the year & mileage. The first year takes the biggest hit... Let someone else take it ha ha.
When you're finished with the SUV series, can you do a video about the new Cadillac XTS? No hurry. Just when you get around to it. Thanks. Looks like GM learned some things since the bail out. Hope this trend continues. Best of luck.
Too many drunk slobs posting utter nonsense here. This is an excellent SUV with nice styling and decent mileage. Jeep GC and Range Rover Evoque are excellent choices too.
Ok, I had this car and the chrome around the center air vents is terrible. The sun reflects off of it and goes directly into my eyes. Ended up replacing with dark plastic because the chrome was so shiny and reflective. Is terribel
you are wrong because you buy the tahoe for the 7 passenger seating as well as the room you get behind the third row. if it third row is being used up on the acadia the trunk is very small. mdx is also getting complete redesighn next year and i think its just a better car than the acaida
Push button starts are really useless and is just a way to grab a consumer's attention. If something goes wrong with the push start, how will you start your car? The computer handles it so you cant manually do it . . .
he didnt say anything about the creaking of plastic in the console and instrument panel and on the doors, almost every piece of plastic creaked if you touched it
maybe the acadia does have better third row but honestly someone who wants to carry 7 people would go for a tahoe or a true seven passenger. my bad on the sound system but gotta admit more power, better awd out weighs
Rather get a base mdx for 50k. More power better handling better 2nd row room and it also has 3rd row. Not to mention you get shawd with the mdx and better interior
My family has had a 2007 Tahoe with that same grill and guess what! It hasn't dented or flaked to date! 5 whole years! Maybe do your research before saying stuff like this.
Love this model of the Acadia especially that paint with it's pearliscient glitter! Seen a nice used one identical to this at a great price & I'm thinking about jumping on it! My 2003 Envoy XL needs to rest for a bit so this would fit in nicely! I love my Envoy for it's practicality and it's roominess but it's been a workhorse of a vehicle for a while now with nearly 300,000 miles on it's body it's time for a upgrade!
It cheapens the vehicle. There is no reason to put plastic chrome on a car. My suburban had it and it scratched after a while. It loses the premium look of the car. Other manufacturers do not use it, and there is a reason. Its left over from the 50's and needs to go.
My S Class has a fake chrome grille on it. My father was pretty disgusted about it when he saw that when I first bought it. I don't like it but there is nothing I can do about it. It has never flaked or pitted though. At $50,000 and up, fake chrome is really unacceptable in any vehicle.
i dont get why chevy giving up on all these things, i dontk no why that car aint had a 4.3 v8 with 350,hp and 400 torgue, or more, chevy going backwards instead of forward
The Denali trim is supposed to be chrome heavy - this is a classy car, and who cares about the plastic chrome. The vehicle sells so what's the point if it's plastic or real? Nobody cares.
I don't even know what the gmc is thinking, putting a moonroof along with the onstar cuz when it leaks it can mess up your amp and heater and air conditioning mess up big time. Overall i love my gmc......my suggestion to you guys don't get the moonroof.
We have a 12 acadia on our lot - worst car we have. Looks like a blob and drives like a pregnant dodge caravan, if you can imagine that. Not to mention the interior is atrocious. Jeep g.cherokee is a rolls royce compared to this heap.

I would like to drive this vehicle at least once. Old is gold. The outer body of all these vehicles strong and sturdy.
great review. Im VERY happy this man liked the acadia because this is the SUV my wife and i like the most so far!!!!!!!
About the Only GMC vehicle I will consider. THANKS FOR LONGER REVIEWS!!!!!
Again and again, excellent reviews by y'all at autobytel!! :)
we currently have an quick XTS review from Ron, a walkaround with Christine Park and a CUE demonstration with Stuart Norris all on the channel

thats what I did :)
no you’re just poor
Great review nicely done. Better then other RUclips channels out there
I like the chrome and the grill more than anything on this truck.
The Gmc Acadia rules!!
The Chevy Traverse bites.
Best SUV in the market today great purchase
I found that the 2nd row in the Acadia and Enclave were very short on thigh support and also, the bottom cushion wasn't long enough
What's wrong with crome?
When you're finished with the SUV series, can you do a video about the new Cadillac XTS? No hurry. Just when you get around to it. Thanks. Looks like GM learned some things since the bail out. Hope this trend continues. Best of luck.

Will you be doing the NISSAN ARMADA 2012 soon?
GREAT job GM
WTH You didn't even talk about the third row seats like if they were comfortable or not
love the background music...wat is it ?
The type of a vehicle depends on its framework. Truck framing equals a truck, aka fullsize suv. Crossover framing equals a crossover, etc.
The chrome looks great, and it lasts. I'm sorry, but your wrong in this case.
Ok, I had this car and the chrome around the center air vents is terrible. The sun reflects off of it and goes directly into my eyes. Ended up replacing with dark plastic because the chrome was so shiny and reflective. Is terribel
A very good example of why GM is making a turn around, and another example of why the US make some of ther best vehicles in the world.
Great video! Thanks!
i love this crossover
Bad part is when hits 150k miles the timing goes out, and if its outside in the cold the timing goes out faster
Most of the car review sites have become commercial sites now in case you have not noticed. There are very few true review sites now.
And now in 2020, this vehicle is worth $6,500.
anybody notice outrageous wheelspin on the front wheel drive version?
you are wrong because you buy the tahoe for the 7 passenger seating as well as the room you get behind the third row. if it third row is being used up on the acadia the trunk is very small. mdx is also getting complete redesighn next year and i think its just a better car than the acaida

i know right, plus it is the most retained value SUV award winner over 40k.
Stop always complaining about the plastic grill, it doesn't even look bad! It looks good on GM cars
he didnt say anything about the creaking of plastic in the console and instrument panel and on the doors, almost every piece of plastic creaked if you touched it

Love Denali for the chrome. Don't like taillights
The steering wheel looks almost exactly as the Hummer Ones !!
I'll take this over a Hyundai, I'll take any car over a Hyundai!
Not anymore;-;
I bet you can’t say that about Hyundai now in 2021!
@@JM-cx6ze I can!

GMC 😍👏👏👍
Hello.
It cheapens the vehicle. There is no reason to put plastic chrome on a car. My suburban had it and it scratched after a while. It loses the premium look of the car. Other manufacturers do not use it, and there is a reason. Its left over from the 50's and needs to go.
Dose not like chrome
it looks nice but it would not work in the midwes
My S Class has a fake chrome grille on it. My father was pretty disgusted about it when he saw that when I first bought it. I don't like it but there is nothing I can do about it. It has never flaked or pitted though. At $50,000 and up, fake chrome is really unacceptable in any vehicle.
why bother reviewing this when there's a new one coming to the market next year?
i dont get why chevy giving up on all these things, i dontk no why that car aint had a 4.3 v8 with 350,hp and 400 torgue, or more, chevy going backwards instead of forward
The Denali trim is supposed to be chrome heavy - this is a classy car, and who cares about the plastic chrome. The vehicle sells so what's the point if it's plastic or real? Nobody cares.
%90 of cars have plastic chrome grills ... even Mercedes Benz ! so
@edgarama1 xD good point there...
I don't even know what the gmc is thinking, putting a moonroof along with the onstar cuz when it leaks it can mess up your amp and heater and air conditioning mess up big time. Overall i love my gmc......my suggestion to you guys don't get the moonroof.
False. I'm a fan of GM, and I like this vehicle. I just don't like the fake chrome is all.
Umm where have you been for the past 10 years?? most cars have plastic chrome grills LOL
don't forget to tell them about the electrical problems that come after 50,000 miles
good thing GMC gives you a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty
im not a huge fan with em' wheels
That's the Tahoe you dork.
Cole Thornton shut up bitch
its offical this dude hates gm
your so silly ur not 4real
We have a 12 acadia on our lot - worst car we have. Looks like a blob and drives like a pregnant dodge caravan, if you can imagine that. Not to mention the interior is atrocious. Jeep g.cherokee is a rolls royce compared to this heap.
plasti dip the grill and rims gloss black and smoke out the head lights
50 k might as well get an acura or a lexus!!! That car is ugly
Push button starts are really useless and is just a way to grab a consumer's attention. If something goes wrong with the push start, how will you start your car? The computer handles it so you cant manually do it . . .
there is a key that pops out of the key fob incase of a dead remote battery
