Steve Espinola. What a legend. Within a day of me being in the Wurlitzer group, he gave me such great advice straight away and DM'd me with info about which jack springs to buy.

I'm glad you appreciate it; this one was a tougher one to put out, definitely wish I could have known some things beforehand, but that's how you learn for next time :)

Another nice restoration. The shiny keys look brand new and more inviting to play than worn yellow keys. Cheers.

My 200A is just the basic black, but this green colour is really cool. Ive seen some red ones, too.

It's really impressive that you are able to fix an instrument like this yourself. It would make a great video to document the restoration process as it happens, rather than to talk about it after the facts. Maybe it would have the potential to become a viral video, who knows? 🙂But of course I'm aware it would take MUCH more effort to shoot and edit such type of a video...

Thank you!! I do actually record most of the process as it happens, but never with a good mic and usually in bad audio conditions, so I just use it as b-roll. Maybe filming the process start to finish no stops would cut my projects timeline down by a month or two LOL

Great job. Did re-capping help with any noise. Mine is kind of has a hiss/buzz to it and Im planning on doing a re-cap as well.

100%! It was nowhere near this quiet before, but I'd only put that work into a 200a; 200's you're fighting uphill with that original board...
