I have one and it’s fantastic. There is an art to using this (or any steam mop) if you want to disinfect properly as well as deep clean and leave the floors dry in 1-2 minutes, Karcher say to push and pull the mop no quicker than 12 inches (30cm) per second. This way, the surface of the floor is heated up so the moisture evaporates really quickly. Using it like a swiffer will leave them wet and won’t clean them as well. It’s also much less tiring that way.

Hi, thanks for a great review, how long does the descaler tube last for the SC2.
It depends on how often you use it and what the water is like in your area, we live in a soft water area.
Can this be used on tiled walls in the bathroom?
How would this compare to the Bissell steam mop? Is this stick type SC2 easier to mop the floor than the SC3?
They both about the same.

Hi, it's not that loud every now and then it will give a short burst of steam that's a bit loud.

Can I use acessories from another Karcher steam cleaner? For instance, steam turbo brush?
It's unlikely they'll fit.
May I ask if you need to empty the water tank after each mop? Or you can leave it in till the next day when you use again?
I leave it, in all my steam cleaners.
The instruction manual says if you leave the water in place longer than 2 months you should empty it out as it can putrify

Yes it can however you'll need to purchase an accessory. That's included in the SC3

Yes normal it does mean the cartridge needs replacing.

It depends how often you use it. I live in a soft water area, I don't need to replace mine.

Because I'm releasing the trigger, to much steam over wets the floors.

Lots of watching a noisy mop not much recommendation or condemnation . I’ve a really old shark and it’s packed up steaming so I’m seriously looking for a new one no comment on how good or how bad this is .

@@GrumpyMansREVIEWS figured it out , the pin under the water tank looked like it had plastic over it , I scraped it off and it worked straight away....
So does mine. It has since I got it. Despite the continuous noise it used to steam. Now it won't steam at all. I've only had it about 6 months

The pads are crap! They do not stick very well, 1 minute into using the pad rolls off underneath, I will be returning for a refund. Do not recommend
