Thank you for this, I get overwhelmed every time I take the parts out of the box, the picture I found in the box didn't make sense to me, your video does!
I bought this when we had bedbugs in our couch and it works great for that too i could actually stick the whole pole in our couch and let the steam get all the way in there and get to the places you can not really reach only by putting your whole arm in there you could feel the bottem where they might been hiding ( our couch does not have removable cushions so you are left with a very deep hole its a corner couch if i say that correctly ahah) I also used it to steam curtains and the sealing cravices. Also you dont have to go on your hands and knees to steam possible nooks and crannies in the floor. We had those buggs for a few weeks but after many many many hours we got rid of them Al Hamdulilaah. Its been almost 3 years. I wish them on nobody. But if you have them this machine is really helpfull hecauseyou can steam for a very long time i maybe refilled the tank like 3 times when steaming the whole couch from inside out from top to bottom.
You CAN use tap water, but if you live in a place with really hard water, you shoud avoid as it'll gunk up the thing. Distilled water or tap water ran through a Britta filter.
Thanks for review... I was impressed by the format short and informative. I was deciding between the SC1 and 2 your video definitely helped me. love from Australia... Subbed ❤❤❤❤
Great review - we have had the SC2 for a few years, and the only thing I’d say about it is, that I am disappointed in the lid. There is a fault with ours and the lid gets stuck - its the third time we have had to battle with it, and break the kids and buy a replacement. I’ve googled it and it seems to be a problem with some of the machines if you leave the lid in and don’t use it for a while - it gets stuck! That’s been our biggest gripe with ours, to the point now that I am prob going to replace the SC2 with a newer machine :/ 😢
Thank you for the support. Sad to hear of the issues that you’ve had with the SC2 long term though. Is the safety lock locking on or are the threads wearing? I do hope that I don’t experience the same thing, suppose I better keep using it often!
@@tech.nicola I hope you can avoid that too. We had tried to remember to take the lid off the last time we used it, but forgot - and its stuck again- that would be the third time of replacing it if we had gone down that route - so I've gone and bought a SC3 :(
This is one of the VERY BEST househould product review videos I have seen on RUclips. Especially helpful videoing the unboxing, laying out the parts, showing how it all fits together. Overall your production quality is excelllent Subscribed

Nice video! I find that the long pipe that's connected to the attachment gets very hot, making it uncomfortable to use after a while. How do you get around that?
Just wondering if it can be used on window glass and mirrors? And also stainless steel? So would I be able to do the kitchen sink for example? My mum is getting old and I'm trying to find something that will make cleaning quicker and with less effort.
I plan to paint some interior walls soon & have looked at steam cleaning them instead of sugar soap, one of these steam units I think might be good for cleaning walls with the hard floor attachment.
Stupid question, but can you use this to clean external surfaces, I tried to clean some marble and stone that got black over time with a pressure washer but it left a bit of black spots, would this clean deeper?
Do you think this is black mould? If so sounds like you need some black spot remover. I don’t think the steam cleaner would have much chance removing that.
I've got one like this: used it once and wanted to use it for a second time, but the the water tank cap will not come off. I can't tighten or loosen it. The cap is in and seems lame because I can't tighten it either. Any help here?
A few people have mentioned this, but I’ve not found it to be the case. Is the machine off and cold? Did you empty all the remaining water the last time you used it?
Thank you kindly for this video. 🙏🏾🤍 I have used this to clean the inside the car and on the fabric car seats. The car smells so much better without any extras. ✨✨ so fabulous!
It lasts longer than I thought it would. I did the whole bathroom deep clean with only refilling once but for the quick ‘keep on top’ of jobs, I can steam mop all of the downstairs hard floors with only the initial fill at the start.
No this uses water only and it does a great job at cleaning with just that. You could possibly use a cloth and soapy water before then going over with the steam cleaner if you felt it necessary.
It does indeed. The spot clean smaller adapter works for stains and the larger to give a larger surface area. Bear in mind this is a steam cleaner (spot clean and kills germs etc) this wouldn’t work like a heavy duty carpet cleaner.
@@tech.nicola excellent news! I've just acquired an older model that works perfectly & wondered about using it on loose rugs - the cheap kind, not cashmere or anything like that😂

What’s the weight like sister. Is it heavy¿
@@HK-zu8cf no not really its much lighter then a vacuum cleaner even afteryou filled it with water. You can also pull it very easily
Thank you very much. Helpful, informative, short and to the point! Keep up the good work!
Always lovely to read nice comments. Thank you so much for your support 🙏🏻
Love the ability to use tap water. That’s what sold me.

Best review of this unit! I like it
This is awesome!
I have no idea how steam (water) removes limescale build up which came from water - but who am I to question? As long as it works
Thanks, helpful. Learning the basics of steam cleaning and considering Karcher.
Brilliant - thanks for watching. I’ve used mine for all different cleaning jobs. I love it!
Makes me wanna buy 1 now

To be honest It’s not something I’ve noticed.
Just wondering if it can be used on window glass and mirrors? And also stainless steel? So would I be able to do the kitchen sink for example? My mum is getting old and I'm trying to find something that will make cleaning quicker and with less effort.
Yes, absolutely. These are fantastic for a good through clean.
Did you go over the shower glass after the steaming with a dry towel again? or is it that clean only with the steamer??
That was after the steam cleaner. It doesn’t leave residue behind like when using glass cleaners, so there was no need to polish off
Does the hose come out of the gun and burn your hand ..cause i had an incident with vantro steamer .....plz help need to buy this
OK sold!
Stunning device
anyone else here watching the review after they bought to check if we made a mistake
…And I’m curious to know what is your conclusion?
Hi Can we use this for rugs ?
I plan to paint some interior walls soon & have looked at steam cleaning them instead of sugar soap, one of these steam units I think might be good for cleaning walls with the hard floor attachment.
Sounds great!
Great review as always!
Thank you so much, that’s so kind. I’m glad you enjoyed 💛
Has the sofa remained wet?
Thanks for the answer.
No, after going over it to clean it was a little damp. Within an hour it was completely dry again.
Would you clean aluminium venetian blinds with this machine?
I couldn’t see why not. I’d probably use the hand attachment with the cloth on it.
Can we put little lemon mix with water ?? Thanks
It’s Probably not advised 🤷♀️
@@tech.nicola I like the fact that you took time to reply that question.❤
Can this used to treat Bedbugs on furniture
Depends how hard the bedbugs bargain
Can you adjust the pressure or the steam temperature?
The pressure can be adjusted on the handle (2 settings) but I don’t believe you can change the steam temperature.

Contact the manufacturer. Hopefully they can help you troubleshoot the issue, or potentially have it repaired or replaced.
Could you use these steamers for clothes?
it already comes with an accessory for that

How many degree steam ?
Great review thank you ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching x
Hi after moving home I’ve lost the nozzle for where the water is poured in. Can I get parts.it’s SC1
You can get replacement spare parts on their own website or you may even strike lucky on Amazon.
Could you tell the difference between sc2 and sc atk 2
Just looking online technically they look the same just visually different. The accessories may differ slightly too.
Mine spits water from the day i bought. i cannot clean the couches as the steamer makes it wet.
Is it maybe faulty?
how many times did you refill it during those jobs?
It lasts longer than I thought it would. I did the whole bathroom deep clean with only refilling once but for the quick ‘keep on top’ of jobs, I can steam mop all of the downstairs hard floors with only the initial fill at the start.
Did it leave a line of fluff on the floor. If you know what i mean
It didn’t for me, so I’m unsure what you mean 😅 did this happen while using on a hard floor?
Okay. So you don't know what I mean
@@scarfy230 Haha, she doesn't need to know what you mean. As she didn't have that experience, you both know that she didn't have that experience.
Hello is there an option to use soap soapy water and go over again with clean water to rinse of especially on upholstery eg seats

What about carpets
Yes I’ve since used it on carpets too 💪
Gave up, due to adds, what's the point.
Don’t keep the cap on when not in use, it gets stuck solid and the product becomes useless landfill.
Good piece of advice 👌
