Bengali biryanis are one of the best in my opinion, the aromatic flavour of the rice and tender meat pieces in unbelievable. Also when you add a nice madras, bhuna or curry sauce with the biryani it just takes the flavours to a whole new level. Plus you can’t go wrong with a spicy mint chutney or cucumber raita to supplement the biryani.. absolutely banging
This was so chaotically east London, I loved it😂. The rat, the open drug taking, the halal signs everywhere, the eastenders theme tune blasting. Really enjoy your content, you just seem like a really nice guy who loves his food adventures. That custard tart looked delicious for that price!

Lovely vid, prices are a bit crazy as many of the restaurants on Brick Lane cater to tourists, food is cheaper around the rest of Whitechapel. If you haven't already, try Feast & Mishti buffet. Also if youre looking for a spot to film there's a nice park/green area called Allen Gardens just off Brick Lane.
I have used beigel bake for years, the salt beef from there has enough meat to make two beigels, also I called in the asking how much time would I need to get 100 plain beigels for a wedding, he said we make them non stop so I don’t have to give any notice, so on the day, I called in and it was seconds to get them. Never liked the other shop but each to their own, also my favourite is open 24/7 all year except Christmas Day. I still pop there every few weeks or so

I had a full day of wandering about and eating....That Salt Beef Beigel, Mustard and Pickles put paid to that idea...I was full all day after having it!!!

Charlie on your recommendation I went there, 10/10 for value plenty of meat BUT here's the disappointment it was flavourless. I went home added spices and salt. Don't get me wrong if I had £3 in my pocket, get this 'biryani' or chips, this so called biryani wins. Its not Biryani, its meat pilau. Midpoint which is a way few doors down, is way tastier, yes, slightly more If you don't mind I'd like to give you idea for content its free; That small stretch of road where you got that 'biryani' has some dirt cheap food. So check out all the shops ask them to give you sample, if they get free publicity I am sure they will. Buy enough food to feed your friends (you choose how many) and then get them to rate it, ask how much would they have paid for the food from their local , and then reveal what it cost.
