I'm not in front of my pc but if you want to select a frame you can just select the frame you want in the retimer option in your tyspline and if you want to create your result in spline you can just scroll down and you will see the " export spline" option to convert you simulation in 3dsmax spline
@@fabienescudero thank you for the detailed answer! I'm stupid and I was looking for a way in a completely different place :) but my 3d max crashes when pressed - extract splines.
@@fabienescudero now the object (edit Spline) is being created (with interpolation=4), but it is empty (display in the viewport and rendering enabled). If you move it, then 3ds Max crashes. I have 32 gigabytes of RAM, an i7 3930k processor. If you use the tyMesher object, and add tyFlow or tySpline to it, it works great.

Can you do a quick tutorial on extracting spline data from a spline paths with the tySpline Cache? Unable to get it working so that after i've created TySPlines, I can use those splines as the target for a path follow operator.
Great, thank you! Just my little spheres won't show up in my rendering :-/ Seems not to have anything to do with material - they don't even appear in the alpha channel.
Hey thank you again. When I try and give it Gradient Ramp Material it applies to the whole object as one and not to each individual spline. I use Mapping with Object (cylindar) that I applied the Material and looks good for one Cylinder (spline). When applied to tyflow it just maps the whole Spline "mess" as one object. Thank you
I don't know if it possible to map a color to different spline without using the material id . set to random. And apply a material sub object. I think the mapping operator will not map each spline differently
@@fabienescudero yes that works fine. I have sphere and Surface Force with splines. I want the same texture (gradient ramp) to be applied to each spline (on birth its black on end is white). Now ot just applies the gradient ramp on whole object of splines. Bottom splines on sphere are black, top ones are white
Can't seem to make the splines avoid objects in my scene, the particles do but sometimes the splines will intersect other geometry in the scene. Any tips?

Oh... no words! brilliant!
Thanks Danil!
Awesome tutorial.... Thank you so much for sharing your bast knowledge..🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for share Fabien!
You are the best . Your tutorials are always amazing 🤩
Thanks Amandine!
This is great! I was trying to work out how to do this today, one day after you made this video! Which is pretty lucky timing on my part.
Haha. I hope this tutorial was usefull for you
thanks for the tips and tutorial
Wow ! Thank you So much .
Fabien, please tell me, how to convert the result obtained on the desired (selected) frame to Editable Spline and (or) to Edit Poly?
Thank you!

Hum I didn't had crash but try maybe to decrease your spline step interpolation .

Yeah it's a good idea to use the tymesher!
Fantastic but how do you stop the splines from overlapping and intersecting each other?
Nice!
Who's that asshole that presed down vote, I love your way of explaining things man. Keep it up 🔥🤘
@@lirimhoxha9464 thanks for your wonderful support man. It's nothing. I will continue for people who like my content :)

You can upload it to your patreon!
Great, thank you!

Check if you didn't forget to add a mesh operator to activate the particle in your render
@@fabienescudero Ah yes, that's it :-) Thanks so much for your support!!!
very good love it
when i change the ungle value on discretance parametre (speed tab) the ungle don`t change :(
Don't forget to set the timing to continuous in the speed operator

You can use the Collision operator to collide with your spline or the flock operator to avoid your mesh
nice bro
hi is there any way to talk to u?

Will you help me to create animation that I am looking for using tyflow? I kinda need your help to make something. I am also using 3ds max tyflow.
It is really hard to find good tutorial behind the magical simulation work
