This individual is, in my opinion, deliberately destroying Canada. His legal father did the same, and had exactly the same war with Alberta. I lived through that, and Pierre Trudeau was just like this boy they call his son: Immensely popular at the beginning, HUGELY unpopular at the end. He had to resign from the Liberal Party to try to save it...........he couldn't. They lost the following election more badly than any National Party ever had, or ever has done since. It's been well hidden, but if you research it's all here on the net. Just a further point: Trudeau (senior) did not have the guts to, in front of Parliament, announce he was resigning, and so he sent the Secretary to the Liberal Party, Iona Campagnolo, to Parliament with a note...which she presented announcing his resignation. Trudeau Senior put all 'his' money in a trust. The Pierre Trudeau Benevolent Foundation. That's where he hid all his money, and the people he had entrusted portions of it 'donated' it to the Foundation. That is how it is done. It's hidden. It's a blind Trust. It's not taxable and therefore no one can look into it. Get it?
I think he's in fear for his life (literally) over there. He's gotten a lot of people VERY angry.
Trudeau shouldn't show his face anywhere but in prison for life. Actual life, not 25 years and parole after 3 years.

No one in Alberta wants to see his face, as well as in BC, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick. PEI, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. He's a slow learner.

When I was younger and Pierre Trudeau was at the end of his Prime Minister role. We used to say "I am proud to be Canadian, I am glad that I am free but somedays I wish I were a dog and Trudeau was a tree". The feeling is here again.

Why do cities think it is okay to waste money rebranding and changing names. It isn't just the ridiculousness of holding focus groups to change the slogan, but for cities who claim to be environmentally friendly, they are going to throw out all the stationary that has the old slogan on it, and then have to waste money and paper to restock with the new logo and slogan.
What about the traitors in parliament?

For the new Calgary slogan and slogans in general for areas, I had always hoped for a time when B.C. and Alberta merged together giving this new land an abundance of Whales that hunt and migrate through the west coast's waters, the vast Oil reserves that contribute reasonably priced energy and wealth, Cattle that provide Beef and Milk and associated products, and fishing, be it in the pristine mountain streams or in the Pacific Ocean. Culminating in the slogan, Whale, Oil, Beef and Hooked that is also a nod to all the Irish folk in the newly formed Province/State/Country. Have a great one Rachel!!

As a resident of Calgary, I would prefer him to stay home and save the taxpayers' $250k, than to show up for photo ops at the Calgary Stampede. But knowing Trudeau, he likely did not save us any money, he probably spent it on something else.
