that rolling wheel kick he used to do was insane for someone of his size to pull off
Agreed
@@david24680dw Absolutely agree, i remember seing him do that for the 1st time (or first time i saw him perform the move anyway) and i was like Wow , did he really just do that :)
I've seen guys at the independent level less than 1/3 Nelson's size fail to pull such a kick so off so flawlessly... God rest his soul & I mean no disrespect whatsoever, but that's a very impressive move especially considering that the vast majority of people in that weight range can just barely get up to walk to the nearest restroom.
Yeah and he was injuring people he was an unsafe worker. It should have been you who took the kick you would not think it was amazing.
@bananabana6630 you take the viscagra and love that shit
I lived next door to Nelson for several years. Always polite, and even hooked me up with free tickets within driving distance from Memphis to several events. Cut my hair like his and died it white. Ringside once too. Gone too early. Awesome friend.
Cool story man.he was really special in the ring and out
Cool story man! He was my favorite character from the Attitude era because he was large, gothic, and scary.
“He worked for WWE on and off for several years as Mabel, Vicsera and Big Daddy V, but was released when the company grew concerned about his weight and overall health.”
to be fair he said he couldn't remember first and offered that it might have been that
Concerned about his health eh?? so obese is bad but good d up on heart attack medicine is to be encouraged
1996:mabel released
00:viscera
2008:big daddy v released.
2014:wwe does not acknowledge and rip viscera
Viscera disappeared off WWF TV in April 2000. He got injured according to his shoot interview and was sent to WWF developmental, Memphis Wrestling where he teamed up with K Kwik (R-Truth) to put over talent and to probably lose a few pounds. I know because i have seen some of the footage.
JR is one of the most unintentionally funny people I’ve come across.
mabel is one of the most unintentionally fat people ive ever come across
JR suddenly turning from talking how great a guy Viscera was to how he'd take viagra to watch porn caught me off-guard lmfao
Ya it was weird little thing to throw in there
Viscera does those screams when he slams his opponent and it creates a bigger impact. More wrestlers should do this.
Haha the big splash where he goes “Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” 😂 😂
I always liked him thought he was a heck of talent and could move for a big man rip bigg daddy v
When this gimmick was around I was in high school & there was a fat raver kid who had blonde spiked hair. A few weeks later he got some of those viscera contacts & I started calling him Big Vis.
He didn't watch wrestling but when more people started calling him that & he found out who Viscera was, he got mad at me.
🤣😭🤣😭
Hahahaha
Lmao
😂😂😂😂 he was a BEAST
@@thetraveler1182 yup.

I remember Teddy Long talking about the Viscera viagara story.
Viscera was okay but he sure did creep me out when he turned into Big Daddy V 😖
everyone freaked out when they saw his real physique without the clothes. It was horrifying
@@bkohler89 We didn't need to know he had six breastuses. But Vinny Mac thought it was essential we did. I still remember what my granny said when she saw him 'Did they leave him out in the sun? The fat B****** melted!'
I thought his tattoos were pretty cool
I was more creeped out when he became The World's Largest Love Machine.
@@aluminumsalmongames6277 😫six breastusus I’m dead 😵 AF! How did the comment section of Jr’s podcast turn into the comedy clubhouse? 🤣
I think Vicsera was part of Coperate Ministry and he was great
He was definitely apart of the corporate ministry and you are correct on that and that was one the best stables in the attitude era of wrestling and its was about 10 people in the crew and their segments was cool and true bad asses.
He was a good component of that. He was scary.
@@jarellbrown6974 the undertaker was the head of that couldnt get more badass than that
@@waynejohnson9017 that's true
@@jarellbrown6974 mmm
Once again we hear about either Shawn ,Kevin, Triple H using their closeness to Vince to destroy a wrestler push such as they did to Bam Bam Bigelow. Rest In Peace Nelson Frazier and Scott Charles Bigelow
To be fair Nash had a reason to be pissed. He was dealing with a sore back and told Mabel DO NOT do that spot where he drops ass first on to the other guys lower back from a standing position but Mabel did it anyways.
@@emanuelmartinez7267 To be doubly fair, Mabel shouldn't have been doing that spot to ANYONE. Dropping all of that weight, full force, on someone, back or front, is going to hurt them, maybe seriously. When Yoko did the "Bonzai Drop, he was deliberately holding onto the ropes, so he DIDN'T actually come down on them with much weight. He was holding himself up, so as not to hurt them. Mabel straight up DROPPED on their backs, which could paralyze or crush someone.
I believe he was a good dude. But that was a STUPID spot that never should have been allowed. Doing a big slash onto someone full force, at THAT size, is bad enough.
@@emanuelmartinez7267
Nash has said Vince wanted to fire Mabel after SummerSlam 1995. Nash stood up for him and talked Vince out of it.
@@RetrorevelationsYokozuna only performed the Banzai drop safely on anyone he knew was of value to the WWF, whether it was big stars like Hogan, Bret or Undertaker or low middle card guys like Virgil.
However he was a total dick to the nameless jobbers that were just paid to show up, get beat and leave jobbers and did perform the move for recklessly. They’re definitely videos where you can see Yoko didn’t care and hit much more of his weight. He definitely hurt some of those jobbers.
At least with Viscera, he was just a bad dangerous worker. Yokozuna was just an ass hole who could work safe, but didn’t care if you were just some average Joe.
I remember every single time M.O.M. performed mo would be in the ring getting knocked around for what felt like half an hour and then Mabel would come in for the last 2 minutes, like clockwork. It's the L.O.D. model, hawk was never the lifesaver if memory serves
I always loved Viscera. Underrated big man.
Nah he's pretty perfectly rated. I like Nelson Frazier but he was not good in the ring. His reign of terror in 95 is a pretty good way to describe his in ring work.
He was ok, sluggish as hell though.
He used to hurt everyone. Crushed undertakers eyesockets by dropping his butt on it. Severely hurt nash's lower back by dropping his butt on it too. Reckless in there
I never been so terrified by a wrestler before like I was with Viscera. This guy gave me many nightmares when he was in the ministry
It was Kane for me
@@pandadoublexl lol I mostly laughed at Kane. I saw him in person when I was little and I wasn’t afraid.

He said he never had a problem but many other wrestlers said he was one of the most dangerous guys to work with. He would dead weight drop on a wrestler
But he wasn’t toxic backstage. Just unintentionally dangerous in the ring due to his weight
Look he was dangerous at times... but i was always impressed at how he moved to be honest.... his slams were epic and his bumps were fucking gold
Viscera was way too heavy. He nearly ended Kevin Nash’s career with a botched move.
Nearly ended the Undertaker's career as well.
@@zackvanhalen the undertaker is immortal

@@FalconsWhiteSox yeah as a gimmick
The fall out with Nash was a pretty big one I think, we all know Nash can be a bit of a dick and he isn't backwards in coming forwards. He told Viscera before their match "you're 500 pounds, don't you dare do that fucking drop on me"... and he did, cue a big fall out after the match.

@@ClassicKrusty I saw him do it in some other matches too. but he would land on their chest. not the back. dont know who else got injured but you cant really protect your opponent with a move like that. you are just dropping all of your weight and Viscera was too fucking big.

Viscera run as Big Daddy V should have gave him a huge Monster Heel run as ECW World Heavyweight Champion agaist many ECW Originals Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Sandman and RVD even the likes of CM Punk, Christian, Mark Henry, Kane, and Big Show. Also a Heel run on Smackdown holding the Big Gold Belt with in many classic matches agaist The Undertaker such as The Casket Match, Buried Alive and Hell in a Cell.
He had it goin until Take put him n Hells Gate and he bled from the mouth
@@dominiquejones3805 Facts
@Larry Da Man Facts the original ECW title and roster that include the oringinals before there departure only if Vince Negotiate a deal with a virtual channel or spike TV that includes there graphic violence, sexual content, and explicit language continues to be the elements for the third brand just like the Original ECW such ECW Hardcore TV or ECW on TNN. So Big Daddy V would had a good super heel run if they used and brought him in at the right time.
Agreed. But there was no need for the Big Daddy V gimmick. They should have reverted him back to the Ministry version of Viscera when he went to ECW.
Then brought him back like 3/4 years later
JR to even say that after a man is gone shows your character. Him watching porn has nothing to do with him being a wrestler. That was very weak of you
@Rookie Dump But it had no pertinence here. This was specifically about why he was cut at the time...and JR made a caveat to make some positive remarks on the dude, but then abruptly and jarringly throws that highly unfavorable rumored story into the middle of it. It was odd.
Shoot back in the day viscera was scary looking when I first started watching wrestling
I met vis at that time he was a monster
I'm just picturing Vince and Bruce trying to dance to the theme music of Men on a mission
I could never share a beer with a guy like Bruce Prichard
I would, after so many drinks, alcohol starts to become a truth serum, maybe if Bruce prichard gets wasted enough, he'll actually start telling the truth about things
Liked his theme song at that time to
He was awesome in the Ministry. He went from MOM to MOD.
You tryin to tell me JR doesn't take viagra lol
“took viagra to watch porn” damn really dragging the dead through the mud
I don't see why he had to mention that
I think ppl are more curious as to why he was fired in 2008 under his “Big Daddy V” gimmick
I liked him but he hurt a lot people, Undertaker, Nash, One of the Body Donna’s , one of the head shrinkers ....I don’t like call him hurting anyone that I can remember after they hired him the second time but I could be wrong.
I feel like it's pretty obvious that he became a safer worker during his 2nd (99/2000) and 3rd (2004-2007?) stints in WWE. You didn't hear about him injuring anyone else. But it is shitty that he ever did in the first place. Whoever trained, should have taught him better.
Vince pushes him because he is 450-500 lbs. Then later "your weight is a problem" lol. The very reason he was pushed is the thing they later take issue with as an excuse to get rid of him.
Viscera was supposed to be the 3rd man in the NWO according to Dave Meltzer.
The whole Viagra thing was super unnecessary, Jim.
Agreed. He wasn’t there to talk about that and why bring up small unnecessary things about somebody that’s dead? It isn’t insightful information for fans, it’s just embarrassing personal information that nobody needs to know.

At least he's been improving Raw since taking over.
A man that knows how to do his job based on set expectations from his boss??? Wow, so unheard of. No wonder smarks like you are such bums.
He ought to have been fired after sitting on Kevin Nash at SummerSlam 95.
I am hardly the greatest Nash mark, but that was so unbelievably reckless and unprofessional.
Nash probably tore his quad in that match
Viscera should of stolen Nash's moniker, "Big Sexy!" 😂
Big sexy & sexual chocolate
Was this where Shawn Michaels reportedly saw him snorting a HUGE line of cocaine and reported it to Vince (and, given that this IS Shawn Michaels (who was a drug user in the 1990s), that's really saying something if he was reporting it to Vince) and Viscera couldn't deny it because of the state he was in?
Biggest line he had ever seen on one of the limos, Vince supposedly fired viscera on the spot.
cool, glad I'm not the only one who remembers that rumor lmao
Big Vis
Future HOF Viscera !
I'm probably the ONLY one, but for some reason i loved the Mideon and Viscera tag team combination sadly were never more than mid to lower card, often were used as jobbers.
I was a big Mideon/Viscera fan as a kid. I don’t know why, honestly.
@@Kevin-eq1md me too. Even though they were booked as jobbers they were my favorite because they were sinister, gothic, and scary. I still go on RUclips and listen to their first theme song with the Acolytes which is my favorite themes of the attitude era.

The poor guy probably couldn’t naturally get an erection. Can be quite common in morbidly obese people and I imagine his blood pressure was quite high.

What about Sir Mo?
Jim Ross such a funny dude
I think big daddy v was just a huge man. That didn’t know his own strength.
Why didn't Nash ever confront Viscera about what he did? He loves talking about how he slapped all these guys
Nash loved bullying people, or backstage politicing them out of a match or even their job. He was just bitter he couldnt do that with Big Vis , who would have crushed him. I dont feel sorry about Vis doing the drop on Nashs back any more than i felt sorry for Layfield when Stevie Richards clocked his a** with that chair and busted him open as a reciept for what Layfield did to Blue Meanie.
Men on a Mission is my favorite version of Big Daddy V.

Rumor has it Viscera broke a bathtub in a Louisville Kentucky. Crash Holly came banging on Steve Blackman's door and told him Viscera was stuck and he needed help pulling him out.
