    Useful template.. 👍🏻👍🏻 maybe u can share on how to create excel template that can linked with other template so that we are not required to update at two place..for example for my case i have 1 master excel for employees data than 1 more for separation..so everytime i need to update at both excel and sometime tends to forgot and data become not accurate.

      In this Retention Dashboard template, all the data is entered in one sheet. Active employees and Exit employees are all in one sheet.

    Thanks for the video. Still relevant 3 years on. I've just purchased but wanted to add a power query from another data set to add employee data. Is this possible?

      You are welcome. Thank you for showing interest in our template.
      There are two ways to import the data using Power Query into the template.
      Currently, the data entered in the default Employee table is moved to the hidden HELP table. Hence if you use power query to import your employee data,
      1. You need to write a lookup function in the employee table
      (or)
      2. Modify the lookup range in the hidden HELP table.

    Awesome video! If I have more than 1,000 employees, do I need to do anything to the spreadsheet? Can I change the colors in the spreadsheet easily?

    I just purchased the template, great walk through...I am wondering about adding another slicer on the snapshot dashboard and the retention dashboard to break it down by year or month.

      Snapshot dashboard provides a current snapshot of all employees. Can you please clarify what year or month would represent - employee hire date? We would have to add the slicer and connect that slicer to all the pivot tables on the dashboard, and test.
      In the Retention Dashboard, we show last 12 months of retention metrics - which are calculated using dates. Adding date slicer would be tricky here.

    I downloaded this template, but can't make some changes because the sheet is password protected. What is the password to unprotect? I'd like to combine this date with existing data on another dashboard I am working on.

    Hi! I just downloaded template and entered data. The fields are within the data but still the output tabs are not updating even after clicking refresh. In employee ID field I entered the last name. Is that ok? I also submitted a ticket just now with the spreadsheet. I am working on something time sensitive for work so your help would be appreciated.       Thanks. I have replied to the email. The reason is the 'date columns' which should be in date format that Excel expects. Otherwise, Excel treats it as text and all the calculations do not work as intended. Please review and let us know if any questions. Thanks. Best wishes.

    Hi Indzara, How about duplicates values this template handles. I have got 3 years of data for 2 years attrition. Each sheet has monthly data which I consolidated for further calculations. So each active employee comes in every month . Did your template handles the similar issue?

      Thank you for showing interest in our templates.
      No, this template does not identifies or removes duplicate entries. Each row will be considered as a employee. However, you can remove duplicate entries by selecting all the consolidated data and GoTo Data ribbon and select Remove Duplicates. This excel function will delete all rows which has duplicate value.
      For example, if all column values in row 5 is equal to all column values in row 10 then it will delete either one of the duplicate row.

    Hello, I would like to use your HR templates for our company of over 10K employees. I current download monthly active and term report and get the data from a folder connection. As well as use a few relation tables to reference some minor modifications. Will it be an easy transition to use your templates this way?

      If your generated report has the employees hire date and exit date (if exited), then you can input the data into the template to populate the retention dashboard. You can also share your sample input data that you are generating to support@indzara.com to validate and let you know whether the generated input data is sufficient to use the template.
      You can purchase the template to check your requirement and if the template does not solve your requirement, you can write back stating the reason and we will initiate a full refund.

    Hi I have 1 question about snapshot dashboard. How is the difference between orange side and gree side? Due to the topics of each dashboard are the same but some the number orange side is % and numeric but the green side is just only numeric(looks like % of average). Thanks in advance for the clarity.

      The green dashboard shows the average tenure on each category and the orange side shows the number of employees on each category in %.

      @@indzara HI I have another 1 quesition before buying this report. In case, I'd like to add more columns about emp's data i.e. mobile phone number, local name etc.Can I add more column and it will impact with the formula/dashboard? Due to I see that you have only 3 columns which are name, emp ID and email. Thanks in advance for clarification.

      Thanks. There are two other employee attributes (Date of Birth, Hire date) which should not be modified and 2 attributes which can be modified (Gender, Hire Source are default but you can modify).
