Except for a short coming, any mention to the new 6 speed gear box and the 4x4 transfer case and its shifting pattern was a serious ommission because it is what holds the THAR above all. Thanks for your quick response for providing the review. Keep up the good work

And the location is just spot-on❤️🔥 I don't know why, the only thing is that I personally prefer the looks of old thar from the exterior (looks are subjective, it varies from person to person). But as a package the new thar is amazing. For this price, Mahindra just nailed it with the new thar.❤️❤️❤️

Hello Brintow, where are you from? I mean your home. It seems that your house is somewhere in Muvattupuzha / Thodupuzha area. I really enjoyed your video and your review on Thar. We have been using Mahindra vehicles for the past 50 years. My father bought the first Jeep in the year 1970, soon after it got renamed from Willy's to Jeep. From that year onwards, we use to keep upgrading various models of Mahindra vehicles. In 1977, we sold our 1970 model petrol Jeep and bought Diesel Mahindra Jeep which came with the Engine of International Tractor's engine. Whenever new model Of Mahindra reached the market, we tried those except Bollero and Thar models. I still love Mahindra Jeep and we have traveled with it for lot of off-roading. Currently I am a proud owner of 2004 model Scorpio basic version. I still love it. I don't want to upgrade it because the new Scorpio is not as spacious as the old one especially if you are looking for an eight seater. I use it for family outing as well as for all agricultural purposes. It had already completed 170K KMs. I hardly spent less than 75K for maintenance till date other than consumables. I love Mahindra vehicles. It is the ideal vehicle for a common village man.
Entry of Thar 2020 in the beginning was with a twist. Superb and creative. 👍🏻 ...was waiting eagerly for your review and being the owner of old Thar, you were the most eligible to comment on the ride and quality of the new Thar. As for looks and other design features, it's subjective and I personally would love to see few visual changes and couple of design changes w.r.t this 3-door version. One being a little more wider door, without fouling or cutting into the rear wheel arch & cladding. 2-3inch more would have created as much wider access to the rear seats. The other being a little more length, around 6-12", to have a more practical boot space. Overall good one, no doubt. Btw, I have to say, the visual content of Thar 2020 was lower than expected. Would have loved to see more of it as well as a shot along with your Thar.
Brintow, but will this car offer a good ride on road? This is a ladder on frame chassis right? I don't think it will offer a car like ride quality right?

We have been using Mahindra vehicles for the past 50 years. My father bought the first Jeep in the year 1970, soon after it got renamed from Willy's to Jeep. From that year onwards, we use to keep upgrading various models of Mahindra vehicles. In 1977, we sold our 1970 model petrol Jeep and bought Diesel Mahindra Jeep which came with the Engine of International Tractor's engine. Whenever new model Of Mahindra reached the market, we tried those except Bollero and Thar models. I still love Mahindra Jeep and we have traveled with it for lot of off-roading. Currently I am a proud owner of 2004 model Scorpio basic version. I still love it. I don't want to upgrade it because the new Scorpio is not as spacious as the old one especially if you are looking for an eight seater. I use it for family outing as well as for all agricultural purposes. It had already completed 170K KMs. I hardly spent less than 75K for maintenance till date other than consumables. I love Mahindra vehicles. It is the ideal vehicle for a common village man.

Entry of Thar 2020 in the beginning was with a twist. Superb and creative. 👍🏻
...was waiting eagerly for your review and being the owner of old Thar, you were the most eligible to comment on the ride and quality of the new Thar.
As for looks and other design features, it's subjective and I personally would love to see few visual changes and couple of design changes w.r.t this 3-door version.
One being a little more wider door, without fouling or cutting into the rear wheel arch & cladding. 2-3inch more would have created as much wider access to the rear seats.
The other being a little more length, around 6-12", to have a more practical boot space.
Overall good one, no doubt.
Btw, I have to say, the visual content of Thar 2020 was lower than expected. Would have loved to see more of it as well as a shot along with your Thar.
