The reason this reminded you of The Gaslight Anthem is that Brian Fallon is the front man for the band.

I hope you get gaslight anthem vibes, Brian is the singer of gaslight anthem. He did 3 solo records while the band was on hiatus . They are all incredible
Honestly Painkillers and Sleepwalkers are two of my favorite albums of all-time. So good. Local Honey was good too, but didn't quite hit the perfection of the first two in my opinion.

Love the Horrible Crowes, but I don't know if I love it more than Painkillers/Sleepwalkers.
He's never made a bad song though in my opinion. I love everything he's done from Cincinnati Rail Tie and This Charming Man, up through Gaslight Anthem, Horrible Crowes, and his solo work.
