Have been running in and enjoying the Tempus for many months. Am ready to consider moving on to the Tempus 2. Looking forward to your review of the Tempus 2.
Hi Sam - would the Tempus make a good marathon shoe (in the 4 -5 hour range) for a relatively neutral, but older runner not interested in a plated supershoe?
It would for sure. Also look at lower drop a bit more neutral but broad base Topo Specter (video and written reviews up), The Saucony Ride 15 (review up) and more neutral but still stable, as well as the Craft Endur Pro
how would the tempus compare to the arahi 6s? Id think that the tempus would be slightly stiffer but would be more suited to faster tempo running? how would the tempus handle in slower speeds?
We have not tested Arahi 6 as of yet but did 5. Yes for sure considerably firmer heel in Arahi including strangely also on the lateral side and support is more pronounced and awkward. Still as fast shoe but Tempus handles slower paces far better and more comfortably after some break in
Sorry Andreas. I had some issues with the audio and had to trim in YT, not the best. The Guide 15 support is more noticed due to the plastic arch is more noticed as a distinct piece but not overwhelming as unlike most such plastic pieces or posts of firm foam you roll through it. The Tempus support is felt as more consistent as all foam and yet easier to roll through forward than Guide
It's a shame about the colour bleed - I love the yellow! I read in another review the PB shows compression wear on the lateral midsole after only 50 miles. Any experience of that?

Coming very soon!
Very helpful review, thanks! I am looking forward to trying these when they are released.
The Asics Gel-Kayano Lite now have some serious competition !
Agree! The Tempus transitions quite a bit better more smoothly that is for sure
Just a suggestion: It would be fun to have short audio or video clips from the testers themselves on their impressions, to mix things up
Hi Roger, we try when we can but they are shy!
the audio seemed to have overlapped from 14:04 onwards
Sorry about that. I cut out a section to make things smoother.
Seems your note audio while recording was forgotten to remove at 14:10 + .

@@RoadTrailRun that’s all I needed to hear! Thank you so much! You’ve been incredibly helpful!
@@zulkhaireesulaiman8575 My pleasure!
Is it true they don't make this in a 2E or Wide?
Not seeing in spec I have but will check with Saucony
Yes but only in the gray color
Can this be used by a high arch foot runner?
Difference between tempus and triumph 20?
Difference of tempus and glide ride 3 or gel nimbus 24?
Great preview! which support is more noticeable Tempus vs Guide 15? Hard to hear that section.

Thanks Sam, you guys are the best source for shoe info 🙌👏

We have only had them a few days so soon 50 and will watch for any compression. Kind of wonder as PB generally doesn't compress early
@@RoadTrailRun Thanks
