Very nice. Will HAVE to check it out once I get my 4WD! Didn't try fishing the creek at all? Lovely water. It would BE a good Trout/Blackfish/Crayfish stream for sure!
G'day TD, great video mate and it's a lovely area up that way, some great campsites all the way up to Store Point at the top of Donnelly's Creek Track which you should be able to access in the SUV. The trip from Merringtons Flat to the junction is where you'll need a true 4X4 as you need to cross the Aberfeldy River at Merringtons Flat then it's a steep and rutty climb all the way up to that junction, it can save good time rather than going around the way you went but it's a fair way down to Merringtons to turn around if the river is too deep. Donnellys Creek itself looks great and some fantastic gold traps in there but unfortunately it's on the exempt list, there are plenty of smaller creeks that flow in from the many gullies like the ones you guys were in off the main creek and the whole area has rich history with plenty to keep people interested, geez, makes me want to hook up the camper trailer and get back up now. Thanks for posting.
