The Nik .great vid.you came in from bruthen side.i was fortunate enough to have dredged the Nik There for 7 months full time.1991.I spent that time from just around bend upstream in vid on deptford crossing up three waterholes to campspot were you go away from Nik on track up high.don and Rob locals got 8 oz patch just before bend after old water measure station. I got bout 63 oz above there to top camp .run of gold in Nik very narrow.bout three feet wide.payable to work with six.inch dredge.when you got a.reef crossing.though you'd get a patch.got a five ounce.one on very pyrite enriched vein.if you want any more info on that rivers gold I'm happy to answer.

the water is going to be a problem for a while up the creeks unfortunately I think. last time I was up there I spooked a couple of deer to. I swung the monster around near the oven for some trash. other people have found gold around there
I think your right the creeks won’t be running for ages. I want to detect around all the saplings before the oven just looking for relics but there and down the creek there’s so much area to cover gotta find the time 👍🏻
