- Hidden in East Gippsland Victoria, Nevilles Falls has been eluding me for years. After searching around I managed to find some information on the location and off I went to check it out.
It's well worth the drive and potentially some pin stripes to get to this spectacular spot.
I'd like to see it with a bit more water going over the falls but I'm unsure id like to drive it like that.
If your ever in Cann River make sure you put this on your to do list, you won't be disappointed.
I hope you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe to the channel and even drop a comment, it's greatly appreciated.

Always too good. Not scripted, no production crew, no catering chuck wagons, just a guy and his troopy. My trips are far more similar to yours than any of the 4wd offroad advertising programs. Perfect format. Thanks again.
I don’t know … I like the idea of a catering wagon following me around ! 🤣
Glad you can compare our trips, that’s what I’m trying to achieve … I’m just like every other average Joe.
Just trying to keep it real. 👍🏼
👍
@@aguyandhistroopyHey, thanks for your reply. I know a few Chuck wagons that do great snags 'n spags. I'll eat food in the bush, with an appetite and gusto, that I'd throw back at a waiter in a restaurant. Portable mini pizza ovens are not for me, and hopefully you don't get one for Christmas. Enjoy your trips digger.😊
@@mort8143 mmmmm 🤦🏽
I have a Travel Buddy, only use it to heat pies and pizza for when I’m driving. Can’t be f&@ked trying to cook a roast in one. 🤣
It's a true classic Aussie bloke who wears his Ruggers with the Draw String hanging down the front.
Another great video mate.
Always awesome to watch
Thanks mate, they not actually Ruggers, but they are very close. 👍🏼🤣
Thanks for watching and commenting Muddy 🍻
Great spot mate. Thanks for sharing. Couldn’t agree more with your last few words. Safe travels 👍🏼
Too easy Craig, seems to be a common trend down here in Vic 🤦🏽 ... Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Great spot Gav. You've got a bit of logging history in the family blood.
Grandfather had a few hardwood sawmills( 12 or so ) in Vic and NSW, we have been out of it for a few years now. It makes my blood boil about what has happen to the hardwood timber industry in Vic.
I’ve been looking for this myself. Thanks for sharing 👍 Now I know 👍👍👍👍👍
No probs, just been found and uploaded by a bigger channel. Hope it’s not turned into a biggest tourist attraction and ruined by people like most things these days 🤦🏽
Love you too Kristy 😊
❤️🤣👍🏼
East Gippsland is my favourite place to visit in Summer. A couple of degrees cooler and so much to explore. Great video. Thanks.
True mate, and most of the time the crowds aren’t there. Heaps to see and do that’s for sure.
Another great little episode! Cheers
Thankyou ! 👍🏼
Great spot mate thanks for taking the time to share 👍👍
more then welcome mate, thanks for watching 👍🏼
Always good to see you in your snake catching shoes that incidentally, don't fare to well on slippery surfaces. Love your vids!
Yeah, took me workboots off after I went over in them, then decided to walk around in the bush in my thongs to get content. Never said I was smart, but I can lift heavy things !! 🤣🤣
This is awesome mate thanks heaps !!
Too easy mate, appreciate you taking the time to watch it 👍🏼
Great looking spot, thanks for sharing mate…..safe travels 🍺🍺
It’s wasn’t to bad hey ! Thanks for watching Al. Cheers 👍🏼
Awesome trip Gav👍
Love your videos and I look forward to them.
You and Daniel are my favourite bush blokes and are easy to watch.
Thankyou
Thanks Mate, I like how you put me in front of Daniel. 👍🏼🤣.
Thanks for watching and taking the time out to comment.
@@aguyandhistroopy he won't mind he's an awesome bloke much like yourself.
I see a few us catching up for a video one day.
Can you let us know Scotty's channel.

once again m8 another great snippet of our wonderful Gippsland, great work and great description of DAN, unfortunately his halfwit apprentice is now in charge the only thing my grand kids will see of the bush is shows like yours so don't give up ffs...griffo
Yeah Griffo, nothing is going to change even though Dan has moved on. Everyone needs to change the way they vote, but I reckon the state is beyond repair.
But in saying that we do live in the best part of the state I believe. So much to see and do.
Thanks for tuning in and taking the timeout to drop a comment. 👍🏼
Looks amazing - thanks for sharing.
It’s was a truely awesome spot. Be cool with a bit more water over it.
Thanks for watching ! 👍🏼
That looks bloody awesome mate 👍
That it was mate, shame you couldn’t camp there.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍🏼
Top spot Gav, great footage too ! Nice work.
Thank you 👍🏼it was only meant to be a reel … but it was 2 good 👌
Spot on about dan andrews mate 👌👌🤣
True hey … good to see him gone! I only had to deal with him for 3 years thank god !
Thumbs up just for the nut case dan andrews comment, well said, almost choked on my tea. Wasn't expecting that but very funny.
@@mikehunt5626 I’m known for not having a filter at time, and when he’s involved it’s definitely turned off. 🤦🏽🤣
Thanks for watching. 👍🏼
Nice piece of Victoria Gavin, no other way of summing up what Andrews did either... Still looking out for you in NSW High Country.
Yeah, it was a nice surprise, heard about it a while ago, but never could find it.
I’m up here more than I’m in Vic, just a shame it’s for work hey. 🤦🏽 With seasonal closures I’ll prob do a bit more travelling up this way ( Snowy Mountains - Monaro Regions )
Worth the drive that’s for sure mate hey
Great footage Love the merch you’ve running nowadays 😜🫵👌
And an honest assessment of the situation Dan and his mates have got you lot down there dealing with.
Nailed it 👌👌👌
Keep them coming mate 🍻🤙
It’s not a bad bit of kit, apparently you can get it in a bundle deal now !! 👍🏼
I had a few more choice words to say, but thought best not to let go to much on the channel. 🤦🏽
Thanks for the support Guys.

That’s a beaut spot Gav. Thanks for sharing👍
No problems mate… thanks for taking the time to watch it ! 👍🏼

Gav you always find the interesting spots, love your work Mate!
Managed to get to Aspley Gorge last week, what a truly amazing place! Did the big walk around to Lower Falls on my stick and wasn't a dickhead, as looking over them rails was some scary shit lol
I headed off then to Barrington however heavy storms only gave me time to explore Copeland Reserve etc and l managed not to fall into any mine shafts lol.
Always look forward to your excellent vids, which must keep you incredibly fit running back and forward lol. Thanks for the upload. Cheers, you definitely are an inspiration to get out an explore our great country.
Thanks you, it’s helps when you take some back tracks, get off the merry go round that everyone keeps driving.
Glad you enjoyed Apsley Falls, crazy country, just imagine how many millions of years it took to create that.
Some good spots up around that way, I’ll be back for sure.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@aguyandhistroopy l would love to come back in a million years to see how the Gorge develops, be here also at its inception would have been also amazing as the amount of water needed to erode the slate cliffs would have been incredible to witness. Nature is so miraculous. I watch a couple of others also on here who do similar things to you. I love this format more than the build and bash shit, l try to look after my old 4by,, cant afford to ruin it, same as l do with the bush!
@@Lee-astrololee that’s it, I can’t afford to keep fixing the old troopy, but saying that the seasonal closures have opened up so the high country tracks are calling me.
I love places like Apsley Falls and big gorges, I could make content of these places everyday.
@@aguyandhistroopy Stay safe up there Gav, it can be mad and full of real dickheads lol
@@Lee-astrololee I should fit right I n going off my last few episodes. 🤣🤣🤦🏽
Another good episode mate 🤙 not wrong about Dan andrews
Thanks Brayden. Yeah, shame he didn’t quit years ago. I’m lucky I’ve only had to deal with him for 3 years ! 🤦🏽
nice looking spot there, will have to check it out next time I head that way...cheers mate
Well worth it Jas, not to far off the Hwy.
Awesome spot mate cheers for that! Keep em coming
Too easy mate, thanks for watching 👍🏼
Isn't it a good feeling in your guts when you can finally tick off some sites that you have ventured into after researching and searching. But this raises the question in my head about who or how the track was first surveyed to cross over at that natural crossing point. Was it for logging? Geographical survey? Water authority? How was it found?
From what I was told by a old fella that afternoon was they were cutting tracks into the bush for logging, seen the falls and cut another one over it, pretty sure that track wasn’t used for logging. Bit of a rough enter and exit The bloke who told them about the falls first name was Neville, as to why it’s called Neville’s Falls.
Roger that. Thanks.@@aguyandhistroopy
Alfred Howitt was engaged by the Victorian Govt' to cut tracks in that area in, I guess, the 1850-60's. For timber, gold, and to open up the land somewhat. Victoria was settled from west to east.😊
Ripper 👍
Thank you mate ! 👍🏼
Love your work
Thanks mate. Appreciate you taking the time out to watch and comment. 👍🏼
Ha like your videos
What drone do you use and thanks for providing locations
Thanks mate👍🏼 I’m using the DJI Mavic 3.
That looks like a great spot for a dip. Did you see any decent tent sites near by?
Yeah, I must start having a dip at these spots.
Not really much around, just as I drove out there was a little clearing, don’t see it in the footage, but from memory it was just a turn around area, not that level. Nothing else on the track in. Probably a good thing really.
Thanks for watching, and taking the time out to comment 👍🏼
Nice🤘
Cheers Brian. 👍🏼
Great find mate. Long way from where I'm based but one to keep in mind 4 sure
Just giving you some options Jase, you never know. Lol. 👍🏼

Thanks Luca.
I need to start packing me boardies, and testing out these watering holes a bit more.

I’ve actually started fishing in my next episode after everyone was having a dig at me. 🤦🏽🤣
@@aguyandhistroopy good stuff mate, looking forward to that.
Nice quiet spot. How far is it off the main road? Cheers,
Probably around 25 K drive from the Princess Hwy, only a short drive for a big reward I reckon.
I must say that the face looks much better without the chin warmer. That was a short total awesome and beautiful. Why didn't you take a dip?
Thanks Anne, was getting over the beard, but now I’m getting over the shaving all the time. 🤦🏽
I’ll start having a dip in the near future. 👍🏼
Couldnt agree more about the Andrews government
Made a real mess of things, glad I only had to deal with 3 years of him. Use to laugh about it while I was in QLD. 🤦🏽
Was that a Molly wave @ 5:09?
Yes, a pretty poor attempt at that. 🤦🏽. I’m still working on it. 🤣
I agree with the comment on dictater Dan😢
Lol… Appreciate you watching all the way to the end. 👍🏼
It's a nice spot for sure but I'm not sure I'm ready to get some "pin stripes" on my new MU-X. Great video Gav, I really like your style of filming & editing. 🦘😎👍
lol, no real pinstripes to be had, just saying that to keep people from going in there and trashing the place. See it works. lol
