He says the ex has a 2.0L engine but from what I’ve learned only the Lx and sport have a fuel efficient 2.0L engine and the Ex,Ex-L, and Touring have a 1.5L inter cooled turbocharged engine.
For the Canadian models the LX, EX and Sport have the 2.0 L. The 1.5 L turbo is in the touring and hatchback models
My 2021 EX hatchback has the 1.5L turbo and I consider it an upgrade to the Sport trim in many ways.

I have a 2021 Civic EX Hatchback In Sonic Grey I got less then a month ago. I really like the Sport trim wheels though, both the Sedan and Hatchback Sport wheels. I need to find some for sale asap hah

Maybe in Canada, but in the US the LX has the 2.0 normally aspirated, the EX has the 1.5 turbocharged. I know because I just purchased one (EX) and it's sitting on my driveway

I am in California, and just got a Civic EX, and it has the 1.5 liter turbo with 174 hp.

The ex has heated seats and sunroof. The sport does not. At least with the hatchback

@@jagmeetgrewal6608 You might be thinking about the Sport Touring. The regular sport is a level down from the EX and doesn't have those.

The Sport Touring model does Yes, But just the Sport sedan with the 2liter K20C2 engine don't, Why because I own a 9-2020 Civic Sport 6 Speed manual since May 2021👍😎 5000 miles later getting 36.6 MPG average .

EX is better on performance than Sport trim, its weird I know. The sport just has the exhaust tip thats all. "Civic Sport models come equipped with the base 2.0-liter engine and deliver a respectable 158 horsepower. The Civic EX, on the other hand, receives a more powerful engine setup and comes fitted with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 174 horsepower on the road (US)". I have a 2019 EX my first car and its on lease ending this year. Im keeping mines to mod out. The speed and handling is Agile af it being stock! Get the ex in my opinion you wont regret it, you have no idea how intimidating this car can be to people on the road, you will get challenged if you bout it lol. I crack necks everyday cause a civic ex moves like that.
