Ok, as a Spaniard I loved this video, as the meme says "Y volvería a nacer español"
Also some annotations about some of your doubts:
El tren de la bruja is a quite a very well known thing in Spain's culture, technically the Disneyland ride you mentioned is also a tren de la bruja just with another name, the people with the inflatable bats are there because usually these rides give a balloon or something similar to the passengers, also in some of them, if you can snatch the witch's broom you get a free ride. Sometimes this ride gets mixed with the dragon kid coasters with the train looking like a dragon. I recall in my city there was one called "Dragón La Sirenita" wich means Dragon The Little Mermaid with the walls filled with bootleg images of the Disney little mermaid characters (both the original film and the direct to video sequel), yeah makes no sense it never does. These rides always have an indoor section and some of them put drawings with glowing paint
While spinning-jumping rides with copyrighted characters are pretty popular kangaroos are also a recurring choise, another usual theme is calling it "el saltamontes" or something similar wich is Spanish for grasshopper, when they are named like that they usually use a Jiminy Cricket figure in the middle
Fun Houses are also quite popular, usually themed to a specific property specially comedy ones, Mr. Bean is a recurring theme, also is Torrente (an insanely popular comedy movie series from Spain abput a corrput, fascist, sexist and disgusting former policeman) or Gran Prix (a game show from Spain from the aearly 2000s that only is made during summer were the two teams, each one representing a Spanish small village, compete in physical games it recently got a revivial). Another popular theme is for some reason Hollywood, showing several movie celebrities
The hotel ride is definitely a budget version of Tower of Terror, as a maybe not fun fact the one in my city named the hotel for some reason "Twin Towers Hotel", yeah, uncalled
In that ride's context "Makineros" is the name of those that enjoy or play "Makina" a genre of electronic music that got popular in Spain during the 90s, that's why the Homer figures have a guitar. Fun fact, another popular bootleg related to that music is the "Los Pitufos Makineros" music albums, which were like those "Chipmunk covers" sped up versions of popular songs, but in this case it was The Smurfs (Los Pitufos is how they are called in Spain)
The Simpsons are insanely popular in Spain, and Hispanic countries in general, and since many of those rides were made in the late 90s early 2000s, when the show was a its peak it makes sense they are used that much, in general the ferias seem to be stuck in that period at times, even the music hasn't changed that much. There is even the term of musica de feria, for the music that is usually used there. For example the mechanical bull rides, that usually have a western theme, are known for using the song "En una Tribu Comanche" (In a Comanche Tribe) wich is about a guy encountering several Native American tribes. It's definitely a product of it's time
Another thing about feria rides in general is how horny they are, and it used to be more back then. Several rides were usually covered with drawings of pinup girls, usually tracing well known artists works. Obviously this tends to happen in the more extreme ones but familiar rides aren't safe. The alcatraz ones that had any theme used to be medieval dungeons/ torture chambers with sadistic torturers, human or not, and damsels in distress. The haunted houses had similar ones with the old pulp and weird fiction old school magazines being obvious inspirations. Many have been toned down but not all of them.
So yeah, Spanish ferias are quite unhinged: a paradise of bootlegs, nonsense and political incorrectness at times. In my friend group they are a recurring joke so they always will have a special spot in my heart, so yeah I got some good laughs from this video. Greetings from Castelló, Spain, obviously

The reason why the operator wacks the riders with balloons (usually happens in little powered coasters) is for the riders to try to steal it from the operator. If they manage to do so, they will offer you another ride for free. Greetings from Spain!!!

In England, we get a lot of kiddie rides and inflatable obstacle courses / bouncy castles with major IPs on them at funfairs, and I believe the answer to “How do they get permission?” is: They don’t. They slap the characters on do kids are drawn to them and they get money. Nobody is going to contact Disney or DreamWorks and say “Some funfair ride has your characters on it”, so they just get away with it.

Some of my first memories are being in a feria with my grandma, she used to love El Tren de la Bruja where the witch will hit you with a balloon! We went everyday on the feria days: those are typical held on the Fiestas Mayores of the towns which are usually 4-6 days when most towns celebrate their patron day or important historic dates, ours is at the end of August to celebrate so the fishermans can go pray to their patron so they will return safely!
Usually ferias are one of the first places where kids can go alone with their friends, so teenagers always have a blast on those!

As a Spaniard, the super Goofy is *not* a kind of ride!
That's a very rare retheme. Usually that kind of ride is called "the Canguro", sometimes "the pulpo", often with "super" at the beginning. It means the kangaroo or the octopus.
It's a super fun ride, but super dangerous for little kids, as there's basically no height restriction and no good restraints. When I was 10 I almost rode with my 7 year old little sister. Thank God I reconsidered and chose to ride alone the first time. I was clinging on for dear life. My sister would have definitely gone flying off.

NOT exactly related to Spain but tbh I can honestly say that random ass IP's popping up on carnival rides is just weirdly popular in foreign countries. I'm Vietnamese American (born in the US, parents immigrated here) but the few times my family visited Vietnam when I was a child I visited some small local carnivals that also had rides with stolen copyrighted Western characters on them lol. It's not even just on carnival rides either, I remember constantly seeing bootleg merch like toys, books, stationary, etc with copyrighted characters on them. Kinda like those weird knockoff toys you see in an American dollar store, but shit like that is everywhere in my home country. Guess it's also more common than I thought outside the US, if anything this video made me quite nostalgic for my crappy niche carnivals in Vietnam lmfao
(Also the inflatable hammers are often a toy item sold to children in low budget fairs like this)

Funfair Rides here also get away with Random IPS slapped on them but not only with Kiddie Rides but Ghost Trains here have also well known IPS painted on it like Pennywise, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger and there is even a whole Walkthrough attraction themed and named after "Friday the 13th". Other Rides also have IPs slapped on them like for example one HUSS Flipper had (or still has?) a bunch of movie References on its Backdrop from Alien to The Hulk and even a rendering of the Iconic Photoshot of Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. About the closest thing i can think of in terms of casual copyright infringement here in the US would be some of the tribal fireworks stands that pop up around the 4th of July. I don't know if putting the stands on the reservations puts them out of reach of copyright law enforcement or what (it certainly doesn't put them out of reach of the ATF, hearing about stands getting busted for selling illegal explosives isn't uncommon) but at places like "Boom City" on the Tulalip reservation in Washington half the stands are covered in off-model copyrighted characters.

Hey man, I hope you're doing good. You should do one video with mexican ferias. They're random as hell and they have untrustworthy security on the rides 😅. Love your videos btw 🤘🏻.

My understanding is even here in the US copyright infringement does not apply to portable amusement rides. There are several here in the states that have Disney other copyrighted stuff.

This video is amazing, understanding Spanish funfairs (ferias) can be quite funny or complicated for non European people. First of all note that a lot of those attractions (day by day less of them) are historical! They have been refurbished over and over since the 60s 70s and 80s so this is a main motive for their eclectic liminal weird looks sometimes! Second of all, they are portable attractions which trend to do a selected route within the peninsula (like circus trailers do) to visit all towns and villages during religious festivities, for example in easter or in minor saints festivity which usually are called Verbenas.
Spanish funfairs started (at least where I live) like in the early 1900s and famous attractions like La Rana loca (jumper ride “Crazy frog”) El pulpo (Octopus ride that appears on the video under name Los Simpson) or El hotel (Tower of terror) are on route since the early 90s and the reboot paintings have been there since then!
Disney paintings made with spray paint are the most known and common thing in kiddie coaster rides, for example the Disney coaster which I have ridden a lot as a kid, in adult coasters more “exotic” usually erotic drawings were placed inspired mostly on nightlife, parties, hot girls or even space and disturbing scenery which made a bizarre yet hipnotic combination haha.
Anyway amazing to see an expert talking about this subject! Bravo

I grew up with fairs like this on a smaller scale in the UK, there's fewer of them now and the Spanish ones take things a little further, but nothing overly surprised me. Everything looks fun!

As an American. I would love to check those out. They don't seem boring like most fairs we have here.

Super Goofy looks to be one wild ride. It looks like Goofy has told Dumbo, "I'll see your Flying Elephants and raise you 10 2-Litre bottles of Coke and 6 cups of coffee."

Funny cuz I was just at a fair yesterday for a concert and I can tell you what I saw from there!
They even had a vehicles ride that shamelessly used pics from Pixar’s Cars.

You missed off the pirate ship with the standing section (a cage at each end). Managed to get a ride on one in Blanes a few years ago and the airtime was insane. Must go and find another one at some point 😁

I live in the US, & I've seen lots of portable rides with Disney & other IPs on them. As far as I can tell, they just follow the "nothing's illegal unless you get caught" philosophy. The odds of anyone caring enough to report the copyright infringement & being able to find the right people to report it to are pretty slim. And even if it were reported, by the time anyone tried to check it out, the ride's already been packed up & moved to some other location.
