Bro, listening to this video was sad. I didn't even know they had meet and greets. The shows looked fantastic and I'm not sure if it was just me but I almost wanted to go on safety tour. Please bring back the Muppets, Disney!
Disney had an opportunity to bring back The Muppets to Disneyland when they released that muppet show with The Electric Mayhem, they could’ve had the band play at that stage in the backlot of Hollywoodland.
I remember seeing a show (non-ride) version of the safety animatronics at the Chicago Auto Show as a kid. When Animal pedaled forward, it really seemed like he was going to ride off the edge of the stage and the whole crowd gasped.
I'm an 86 kid. I apparently did go on that muppets ride, but I was much too small to remember it. So that's kinda neat, considering that I'm an admirer of Henson.
Those shows looked so cool! Something that's really lagging now and disappearing are things to do when you're taking it easy, when you're not on a ride/attraction or in line. They should bring these back!
I have strong memories (must be from 1994, since I would've been 5) of Kermit on that long tall seat-thing for directing. I haven't seen clips of that live show in years! I didn't even remember them being full sized people. :D
Thank you so much for calling out Muppet Mobile Lab!! I never got to see it in person but how I WISH I DID, because Beaker is my favorite character of all time, across all franchises, Disney or not. Beaker looked so cute and I wish I could’ve proposed to Beaker during the audience interaction part. 😂 I absolutely LOVE the Muppets more than anything in the world. I was one of 3 people who liked The Muppets (2015) sitcom on ABC unironically. Never got to see Muppets Great Moments in History. But like you said, it’s the perfect format for the Muppets. I wish Muppet Mobile Labs would come back. I would book a trip to Disney World just for that. I’m not even kidding. Every time I’m at Disney I make a conscious effort to buy Muppets pins, get a Tennessee Lemonade from the Regal Eagle Smokehouse, and/or visit Muppetvision 3D. The Muppets have been treated like the redheaded stepchild of acquired franchises for far too long. 😞
The Muppets DESERVE a dark ride. With LOTS of animatronics. Maybe using the scene of The Muppets movie where Kermit is looking at portraits in his hall and we could go into various scenes from the movies, the tv series, take a wrong turn into Star Tours, but it’s with the Pigs in Space characters. End with the big finale that is being in the audience of a live-animatronic The Muppet Show opening surrounded by muppets and muppets up on the stage. MUPPET MUPPET MUPPET

I actually created a dedicated land for The Muppets in Theme Park Tycoon 2 on Roblox just to give the Muppets more theme park cred; I had a Bunsen and Beaker thrill ride, another thrill ride for Gonzo's Royal Flush, a spinning roller coaster for The Electric Mayhem Band, and much more.
I miss The Muppets Great Moments in History at Magic Kingdom. It was a really great treat to see when you walk by after getting off a ride! :D Great Video! 😁 I Can't Wait for more!

I miss the Muppet Mobile Lab and Great Moments in History show so much. They were such perfect ways to work the muppets into the parks ;;A;; Fun fact: The Great Moments in History muppets aren't the same as the original puppets. They're made specifically for that show and are actually much larger than the original ones so that they're easier to see from the audience's perspective at ground level! every time I went to Hollywood Studios throughout my childhood, I was blinged out in muppet stuff head to toe. I would trade to get all sorts of pins, I wore the Amazon sparkly Kermit dress with Kermit hat, gloves, and keychain. I would run to the muppet part every single time and I would spend hours just staring at the world of muppets within that park. over the years that world got torn apart little by little. And of course TPM vids would have it!! Thanks for bringing light to this awesome little experience! I say Disney should recreate it for the parks!
It's a shame that the great muppet movie ride never came to be. And if They ever close muppet vision 3d I will be very disappointed because that's the reason I got into the Muppets and my love for puppets in general.
I would really love it if they had the Muppets characters meet and greet in the Disney Parks again! The Muppets would, of course, be in Grand Avenue/Muppets Courtyard at Disney World Hollywood Studios and in Hollywood Land at Disney's California Adventure. Also, maybe Disneyland After Dark should have a Muppets Nite! Even a Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior Nite, and bring back 80s Nite, 90s Nite, Villains Nite, Throwback Nite, Disney Channel Nite,
We got to see Great Moments in American History and Muppet Mobile Labs when we were at Disney in 2016. They both were great. I cried seeing Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang. I loved it.

I'm a massive Muppets fan, have been since I was four years old, which is about when Jim came to the UK to film The Muppet Show, so that's how long I've been in love with them! The absolute worst thing to happen to the Muppets was the Disney takeover. Jim knew what would happen and he was spot-on. It pains me the way they've been treated over the years since then. The 2011 film was pretty decent, I like the addition of Walter, he's a great Muppet character. The 2015 The Muppets (that's already getting old Disney) TV show was actually getting good when they cancelled it, so of course they did. The really dire IT thing I can't even be arsed to look up the name of was the single worst Muppet show ever vomited onto the telly. The only really good thing was the Muppets Mayhem show from last year, but we didn't even get a Kermit cameo and of course that was cancelled too! Shameful of Disney to keep doing this to such a classic show. Jim would be disgusted as many of us are. Don't get me started on the treatment of Steve Whitmire!
All Disney needs to do is take classic Disney films and use the Muppets as main characters for new films and it frustrates me Disney chooses to do live action remakes instead of just making Muppet remakes.
Amazing video by the way thanks for sharing The Muppets traffic safety show ride ride it definitely needs to get more attention from the public eye as well as Disney fans because it's a very fascinating history for sure

I would like to see _Muppets 3D_ return to Disneyland in the *Magic Eye Theater* (Tomorrowland). it has been empty for several years now, either level it (in preparation for the new Tomorrowland, hahahahaha) or bring an updated show in there. The last thing I remember seeing in there was *"Honey, I Shrunk The Audience"* (not to mention the best show in there, Captain EO.) Same thing can be said *Launch Bay* (Carrousel of Progress, America Sings, Innovetions, etc.)
I guess there’s no better place to lay down everything I have to say about the Muppets. Buckle up! (Pun intended!) First, I believe that PizzeRizzo or Mama Melrose’s should be rethemed to Pete’s Luncheonette from Muppets Take Manhattan or Doc Hopper’s Frog Legs. It just seems like a wasted opportunity to have such generic restaurants in Muppet Courtyard when the theming possibility is right in front of Disney! Worse is that Disney recently opened a brand-new restaurant in Muppet Courtyard called Ice Cold Hydraulics when they could have just themed the restaurant to IDK, Doc Hopper’s? Is Disney not even trying? Even better, I know this is unlikely, but I would love if the parking lot plot behind Galaxy’s Edge was expanded into a Muppets land. Destroy the current one and move the ride. Maybe finally build that Great Muppet Movie Ride, no? Make Jim Henson’s dream of a Muppet Land a reality. Pull out those old concept arts and honor Jim like nobody has before! Alternatively, retheme Rock N’ Roller Coaster to Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring: The Electric Mayhem. You have the show full of material to work with! While you’re adding the new theming elements, maybe call up Vekoma (the coaster’s manufacturer) and tell them to bring in some new track, systems, and overall updated technology. Heck, move Muppet*Vision 3D to replace Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy and build a new Muppets mini-land. Then you could connect Star Tours to Galaxy’s Edge too! If you want to, move Racing Academy to Animation Courtyard! One more thing that Disney could do is retheme Baseline Tap House to an Electric Mayhem restaurant or, as ArtistBruce24 on Reddit brought up, Don’t Drop Inn from Follow that Bird. (I can imagine every hour or so, they toss salad at you or something like that.) That’s about all I can think up right now! 2. Revisit some of the old Muppet Land ideas (Mainly the Great Muppet Movie Ride)
3. Take the Muppets to Broadway for a limited run of a brand new Muppet Show (similar to the Hollywood Bowl/O2 shows in 2017-2018)
4. Bring Back Muppet Mobile Lab as well as a new version of Great Moments in History (including some new stories) and put it in EPCOT
5. Muppets Meet & Greet experiences!!!!!!!!!!!!
