Daniel, Thank you for these instructive videos. Even as a 2075 rated player, I learn so much from these. It's a great refresher, back to basics style recharge for me. I'm at a point in my play where I know my style, don't blunder often, but it's content like this I need to fall back on at times I feel stagnant or need some creativity. The way you relay your thought process on each move really makes me take a step back and take a second thought in my own play. I truly feel like I benefit from your efforts. People! Listen to this man. His videos are pure chess gold! I'm so happy you exist Danya!!. Thank you.

I agree as a 1900ish blitz rated player every once in a while he'll say something about a position I've seen countless times that makes me reevaluate it in future games. Plenty of gems there for stronger players.

For people who want to learn the Baltic and are fans of learning "similar" openings (like if you're the kind of guy who learns the slav because you play the Caro, or the grand prix because you play vienna) there's the Urosov gambit for 1. e4 which feels very similar to the Baltic.

After looking at this with SF 15 dev, it turns out that after Rxf2, Kxf2, both Qh4+ as well as Qg5 win! Also, surprisingly, it turns out that Nc3 as you suggested is inferior to Nd2. The reason being that after black immediately plays e5, white can follow up with e4 without worrying about exd4 and suddenly white's knight is under attack if it is on c3. Lastly, funny enough, after White played Qb5+, the evaluation went from +1.15 to losing at -2.52. The correct move in that position was to go Qf4 and the best line involves black sacking a whole piece yet having enough activity for equality!

Instead of forking the queen and bishop with your rook you could've taken the knight on b1 with your light square bishop. Then put him in check forcing the king onto the d file by itself or with a bishop trade. Then moved the d7 knight onto C5 or B6 having a discovered check and winning the queen with the knight. Haven't watch the full vid yet incase you bring this line up later but wanted to mention it.
