    With so many clients, I start out thinking "this one might be difficult" - and then using your proven methods, I marvel every single time. It doesn't matter the body type, it simply works. Maddy looked great in every outfit! Nice to witness the growth of your business Melissa. What a great way to celebrate your success. Well deserved!

    Why? How... Are you SO good at styling for all these body shapes? You're the best! I'm almost a match for Maddy's shape/size, but 3 inches shorter. But I've learned from all the masterclasses you've done no matter the shape or height. What I found particulary insightful in this clss is, nothing against Maddie, how much more flattering she looks in wide leg trousers than the skinny jeans she started out with. You'd think that the opposite would be the case, but no! She looks more streamlined and taller! And the dresses! I was much like Maddie in thinking longer dresses would be overwhelming. But you've shown how flattering they can be with the right styling. Stellar job once again! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

    Love your videos. I have learned so much. I'm wondering if you might consider doing one with summer clothing on various body shapes. In the US it can get quite hot in the summer and layers aren't really an option even though they make every outfit look better.

    Thank you for all your videos! They are helpful. Would you do more videos for a true inverted triangle (strawberry) shape? I know it's less common, but there are some of us out here, and we need the advice! Thank you again for what you do.

    • @mmpersonalstyling
      @mmpersonalstyling  9 месяцев назад +1

      If I can get someone to volunteer then yes, of course I will. I’d estimate that we’ve had at least 50 people volunteer this year saying they were an inverted triangle and not one person was! Just because you’re big on your bust and around your back doesn’t make you an inverted triangle and I think this is where the miss understanding comes from. So if you want to volunteer then great, I’m happy to dress you!

      I say this all the time, but I think you keep getting better and better. Maddy was a great model. When you put her in the first green outfit you transformed her. Everything you picked suited her. It would be hard not to get everything. The jackets were so good on her. I loved the last outfit so much too. When I dress I think am I as balanced as I can be. Another great styling video, I always learn something new watching these. At some point could you show how to style a cotton blend trouser pant on a curvy figure? Where should a top fit if you have a bit of a poochy tummy and can’t tuck in a shirt? Thx so much for all you share.

    • @mmpersonalstyling
      @mmpersonalstyling  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you! The composition of the fabric doesn’t affect how the pant should fit and if you are trying to hide a stomach it is all about the top not the pants. If you have a look at our channel, you will see some feature larger and apron stomachs. Hope this helps

    Lovely looks. Would love it if you would do a flat chested model, particularly w/a wider rib cage and not so flat stomach. I get how you put someone in the hourglass figure from the horizontal plane but from the 3D or side profile for someone who has no bust and her ribcage juts out further, I’m stumped.

    I think you are fantastic and I I'm hooked to your channel. I've also gotten my mom hooked on your channel and we were both actually wondering if you could do a video on tucking in your shirt when you're on the heftier side and also have a large bust. I see so many cute girls wearing crop tops with high-rising jeans but when I do it I just look frumpy Aunt. I'm already short, 5'4 And I become even shorter and squattier whenever I try to have that cute edgy alternative styling

    Loved this video so much!! Maddy looked absolutely gorgeous in everything!! She appears to be the exact size and shape that I am if I am correct that she is short-waisted. I find it extremely difficult dressing a petite, short-waisted hourglass shape with larger breasts! I love jumpsuits but petite pants are too short on me and if I try regular sizes the waist, shoulders and under-arms are always off!! I am in the US and also struggle to find a strapless bra that will support my breasts! :(

    It seems to be that for larger bust, the one pieces both dresses and jumpsuits are the most flatttering, especially with V neck? Jeans and t shirts most challenging?

      Both can make you look like you have longer legs AS LONG AS YOU WEAR THEM WITH THE RIGHT SHOES AND THE RIGHT TOPS. Note that this is in capitals as you’ve always got to think about the whole outfit. If you wore a long pair of jeans that weren’t quite long enough and were showing most of the front of your shoes then even those would make your legs look shorter. A long jean needs to be as close to the floor as possible without it being a hazard, then if you wear an ankle grazer jean, you need to regain the length you’ve lost by tucking the top in and combining it with a shoe that lengthens your legs. A black heavy shoe with a strap across for example would NOT work but a neutral pointed or neutral trainer would.

    Thank you for another great video. I noticed that this time around you did not shy away from crew neck shirts and sweaters even with the larger bust. My body shape is the same as this so I was surprised to see only a few v-necks in this one. What would you say made all those higher neck looks work for you model even with the larger bust? Is it the longer hair that helps break up the chest breadth? I would wear all those things you styled her in if I thought I could get away with it.

      Yes, the hair created a visual line but also we created a further layer over them with a blazer/jacket. It’s always the whole outfit you look at, never just one part of it. Overall it has to balance.
