      yeah this guy seems a bit full of shit, wolves are fairly skittish creatures towards humans, they mostly hunt small game like rabbit, raccoon, that sort of stuff, they do hunt deer and bigger things and can be crazy powerful apex predators, but that isn't often the case, they hunt out of necessity.
      They stumbled into their den as well, which was a terrible idea because they are very defensive of them, considering they keep the pups there.

      This proves that Joe Rogan is as gullible as they ccome. Just to be clear there has only been one, that's right one, documented wolf attack in all of Canada since before the founding of Canada. There is a report about wolf attacks world wide. The exact quote from the researcher is that the percentage of wolf attacks is not zero, but it is so small it is a number too small to calculate....
      So which is more likely. These hunters from America, come to Canada, and happen to be the only hunter in Canada to ever have to shoot wolves to defend themselves after a kill. All the Canadians who hunt every year, not a single one, not a single one ever had this happen to them. But magically just when some American braggart hunters come to Canada to hunt, magically they happen to be the only people ever attacked in Canada ever like this, and oh, just so you know it is illegal to kill wolves in Canada... "unless you are attacked.". So what is more likely, some American hunters who don't give a darn about Canada or it's laws, come up here, shoot some wolves for their pelts, and now have to justify it to custom and the RCMP so they don't get arrested. Suddenly 'they were in a fight to save their lives'.
      What's more likely, the impossible happened, or some hunters decided they wanted to kill some timber wolves which have amazing pelts?
      Of course Rogan just believes them, he believes anything now, kitty litter in classrooms for 'kids who identify as furries', ivermectin cures Covid(despite zero proof), on an on, his best friends are Tim Pool, Alex Jones, and Eddie Bravo. A man who wears a toque in doors all year around and thinks that women are all evil, a man who had his followers attack the families of the of Sandy Hook victims, and a man who is one of the biggest flat earthers and believes that anyone who sets foot in the poles would get shot... No wonder he believes anything people who act fake tough tell him...

    I used to live in Alberta when i was a kid. My grandparents owned an acreage outside of Old's Alberta. One Day my grandpa and I were coming back from an outfitters to the acreage on a dirt road between farm properties in his old f-150. When out of no where he slowed down to a crawl and pointed to the middle of the field. He said "Look at that!". I thought he was pointing at big black calf standing by its self in the middle of the field. That's when he said under his breath "The Alpha" and I looked more closely and realized it was a GIANT black wolf that looked very similar in genetics to the one they are showing but waaaay darker with light orange eyes. This was probably over 25 years ago when wolf sightings were a lot less common then they are today in that area. That Image of the lone black wolf in the field is permanently burned into my brain and makes my neck hairs stand up just thinking about it right now...

      If you are out in open space like that where predators live you really need to be carrying a shotgun. If you are going out in a truck you should have a powerful handgun in the car at all times even if that means having a gun safe in the car.
      It only takes one occasion where you may need that gun to justify carrying it. All it took was me having one meeting with a bear to realize that I needed a gun every single time.

      So you both saw that scary wolf just standing there - and then what happened? He just took off? And that was the last you saw him?
      You're saying "over 25 years ago wolf sightings were a lot less common then they are today in that area".
      What do you attribute that to? Judging from all these videos and hunting stories, the hunting activity is on the rise, even with Americans somehow freely going to Canada to hunt and killing off whatever animals they like, plus the hunting market and the hunting technologies get more and more intricate. How come you see the opposite effect - more sightings instead of all animals rather getting killed off by now?

      @MrBanolicious 7 лет назад +2

      1CME90 The marines are carrying a lot yes, but they aren’t carrying all the necessary gear to hunt elk along with the possibility of packing out an elk. It’s silly to even try to compare the two. And yes, a guide will scout an area, but they’re scouting the area for elk and since elk move a lot and tend to stay away from predators, stumbling across a wolves den is such a rare occurrence that you can’t really plan for. The way it went down here isn’t how it will always go down. Why if there were more wolves? What if it was at night, what if a there was a bear? What if he had to use multiple arrows or rounds in the elk or one wolf?
