I agree. The way they executed the cash-in elevated Priest instantly: hijacking the opening of night 2, sharing the stage with Punk/McIntyre, and also the credibility Seth gave to that title. And it was an amazing moment for the belt. And as for the current feud, I think it fits. Jey's a rising megastar and the title is about proving oneself.

For the WWE Championship, no matter what, the next feud with it will be a step down due to how big WM40 was, but I think aj and cody will have a fantastic quick feud, especially if they bring up their past outside of wwe. Also, while I'm not the biggest fan of The Rock being the one to defeat Cody, I would love to see a Randy heel turn on Cody around Survivor Series or something. For the Heavyweight Championship, I like all the competitors involved. You have people who are bound to break into that scene like Bronson Reed and Gunther (if they stay on raw), and you still have Drew/Punk and possibly Sami whenever he loses the IC title. While Drew lost the 4-way, it was due to Punk who is still vying for the title. Plus Jey and Priest's match will almost certainly have some type of interference by the bloodline (because its happened in literally every jey championship match). So I think the title's involvement in big stories with Drew/Punk and being an extension of the bloodline story helps the overall prestige.

Lyra's reign was decently long, had great matches, and had a great storyline with Tatum Paxley. I'd even argue that the title got less prestigious after Roxanne beat her for it. The title that has elevated up and coming stars is now being held by a woman who has heavily hinted at moving up to the main roster soon. In this upcoming triple threat, Roxanne feels like the unwanted third wheel next to Lyra and Tatum. Nah i will defend my girl Iyo, She defend against Asuka, Charlotte, Bianca Belair, Michin, Naomi, Shotzi (houseshow). Overall include house show, SHE DEFENDS 29 TIMES.
it’s crazy to think that roman really saved that belt, we went from goldberg and braun strowman to roman reigns and cody rhodes and i will forever be grateful for that. thank you roman, my tribal chief☝️let’s make history cody🫡
What I love of all of these titles is the pedigree of the NXT Men's World Title. While I appreciate what Becky Lynch did by going down to NXT and elevating the women's title, it's nice to see the men's world title has always been on one of the top dogs in NXT SPECIFICALLY. The only time I can recollect the title being on someone from the main roster was Dolph Ziggler after Roadblock 2.0, and even that is arguable and was only a less than one month reign.
Predictions for who will dethrone every champ: WWE: Randy Orton (Berlin) WHC: CM Punk (Saudi Fall event, Fatal 4 Way match up) US: Bron Breakker (Berlin) IC: Sheamus (Clash At The Castle) SDTT: The Wolf Dogs (Eventually) RAWTT: #DIY (Next Week) WWHC: Liv Morgan WWWE: Bianca Belair (SummerSlam) WTT: Zoey Stark (Wins the belts by herself and it becomes the mid card belt)
I think it's inherently unfair to compare anything that can happen now at Backlash with the new champions to the culmination of at least a year (or two) in storytelling at WM40. In my opinion, they need to tell new/different stories now and in a way calm everyone down a bit for the next big thing. Maybe they can focus more on the in-ring aspect for Backlash. Let's see what they have planned.
i think holding too much weight on the first match is bad. you need your champ to go over and look strong. whoever cody faces i hope he beats. as with damian i think the mystique is huge. i see him dropping it to someone to face drew at clash
I think what needs to happen is that now priest needs to hold the title for quite some time and have absolutely banger matches to elevate the title before losing it and priest having the judgment day means they could be just like the bloodline where he is a surviving champion but make it their own instead of just doing everything the bloodline did
I love that all the championships feel special…i feel like they all should be coveted as it makes for great story telling then…..NIA for women’s heavyweight champ
I think that AJ is fine as a first contender, nobody thinks that Cody will drop the title at backlash so just give me a Great match, and that is a great match.
Bianca and Jade wouldn't have to lose if one turned heel. Any heel team would just have to cheat and win. Bianca lost her belt to cheating. She did get it back but got cashed on. Jade and Bianca can take the titles and elevate them. Also, i think the two getting the titles helps work out whatever issues Jade might have as they seem to be tiptoeing about it. Also, they only started giving Iyo singles matches at the tale end of ger reign because she never defended it. It was terrible, hence why I kept saying her title run sucked. Just there for Baley
On the Women's world titles. I don't think who replaces Rhea will be seen as less than. When Chyna dropped the title and Trish picked it up at Survivor Series the Women's title didn't lose prestige. In fact we were excited Trish had won. They could either bring Trish back as a fill in or let Tiffany straton have it as we are all behind her right now.
Also have to remember that Roman did not defend the title at backlash . So it won’t be as easy to bring top shelf talent in for every title defense if the title is being defended at every PLE. The fact that roman could disappear and re appear every few months ensured most of his title Defenses were quality opponents.
I think we'll be fine. WWE should hopefully be shifting back to shorter reigns, reigns in the 6-8 month range tops, so it'll give a chance to build shorter but more bombastic feuds. Like we all know Cody vs. Rock is coming around Summerslam. Rock more than likely wins. Then Cody could get his second run with the title by winning it back Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and for Wrestlemania 41, we get that Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton feud everybody (myself included) desperately wants. Until then though we have Backlash: France likely with A.J. which should be a fucking banger, Clash at the Castle: Scotland and Money in the Bank. That could be three entire defenses, three brief storylines that could be incredible. Or hey, maybe I'm wrong and Rock's ego can handle taking an L and we get an entire year of great feuds before Wrestlemania 41 (I mean I still think Cody should lose; if he retains against the Rock, he should lose to Gunther at Bash in Berlin and possibly thanks to a certain Viper to set up their Wrestlemania feud). Anyways, my point's that there's no way HHH isn't going to ensure that Cody has a great first run as champ. We'll have to wait and see until after the draft, but WWE's full of people who could have amazing matches with the man. A.J.'s just the first of them.
We must not have watched the same shows because any prestige that Seth brought that title was immediately destroyed when Roman called it a Losers title and Cody said he needs Roman’s title. And how do you go from talking about the prestige of a title to a title not being as important because the reign of the previous champion is over.
i'm just so disappointed for Rhea, her run should have been legendary. another thing you didn't mention when talking about the WWC is that whoever holds it is just its babysitter until she comes back, and we all know this
Roman truly ruined that title when people are looking at LA Knight and AJ Styles and actually trying to say it's below the dude with 5 moves, wrestled 6 times a year and has NEVER carried a single match he's been in.
i don’t think you should be nearly as worried as you are abt the world heavyweight championship’s prestige. we all know that priest’s run most likely won’t last and are predicting it to end in clash at the castle in scotland, losing to mcintyre who will then almost certainly fight cm punk so those mix of guys are gonna be right back in it not too far from now
It's insane how so many titles changed hands at Mania, Rhea was one of the few who did NOT lose the title and IMMEDIATELY an accident happens during one of the promos, she gets hurt for real and has to vacate. I think the only one whose title didn't change hands and is still fine was Logan Paul.
I think that the intercontinental championship in US championship have been so good that they need to bring back a European championship or something like that to help elevate these super young talents
I think Damien vs Jey is a perfect match for Backlash (a dominant heel vs insanely over babyface) and Damien is not going to lose in his first defense this is perfect for him. Also Drew is probably gonna be next world champ at Clash of Castle in June and then Punk/Seth/Gunther all could go after it( draft could shake it up)
I do not like the narrative of people saying Sami is too big for the IC title, he should be in the main event scene. I think why not make the IC title a part of the main event scene. You need to constantly have stars like Sami for the title to have prestige and then turn wrestlers like Chad Gable into stars through this system. Also given how locked the current main event scene is, a lot of top brass superstars would be fighting for the mid card titles. The whole bloodline and cody saga for the undisputed championship and CM Punk, Drew and Seth and later Gunther revolving around the WHW championship.
i feel like with all the teases of uncle howdy plus the anniversary of the firefly fun house and add to that raw is happening in Ohio next week which is the home of the goddess she’s gonna return next week and might refresh the women’s title picture
It needs to be called the World Heavyweight Freaking Championship, that will forever be Seth’s title in my eyes. Also imagine Ilja vs Sami or Gable for the IC
I want the WWE to avoid making the WHC be less than the WWE C'ship, like, it is by default but what I mean us that I hope it doesn't get that treatment of only main eventing when the other isn't available (Seth's reign), like, I believe it could have as good and as strong matches as the WWE C'ship (especially when/if Damian drops it to Drew)
I'm bored so I'll list all the storylines I like for Backlash #1. Whatever is happening with Rhea's championship, I have no idea what's happening with her title, I have no idea if her injury is kayfabe, and I'm excited. As soon as I find out what's gonna happen it'll probably drop to #3, but until then I like how unknown everything is. My guess is either A. Liv Morgan vs. Somebody at Backlash, or it'll be the top prize for Queen of the Ring. #2. Cody vs. AJ or LA Knight, if it's AJ I'm pumped, he's my favorite wrestler ever and it'd be awesome watching them tear the house down. If it's LA Knight I'll be a little disappointed because we all know Cody's gonna win his first title defense, but it's a dream match of mine. I'm hoping they do that some other time so it's not a guranteed loss for LA Knight. #3. Intercontinental Championship Sami vs. Chad, I'm excited. Since it's the IC title, there's no guarantee that Sami will win or lose. I'm pumped. #4. Awesome truth vs DIY. It'll be interesting. Again, what I like about it is that there's no guarantee. I don't know what else they're having but I'm still pumped. It's the first time I'm actually okay with being wrong in my predictions. I thought for sure Punk was gonna win the rumble, nope! Cody won. And it made sense. I would've been okay with Gunther winning too, which is nice because I've almost never been okay with three guys winning. This is better than the attitude era, yeah I wasn't even alive back then but the roster is more stacked than ever before, every show is a banger, every storyline is good, and not to mention, they listen to us so they won't screw anything up entirely like they did with Punk, Mark Henry, Wade barrett, Damian Sandow, Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, etc. in the 2010's..
You fix the women's tag divison by adding a women's NXT tag title, and Women's world tag team title on the main roster. Kaden and Katana would make great champions for the women's world titles as they lost due to plot armor of the Kabuki warriors.
I think Cody HAS to do a few matches where we all know he is going to win, but they might also be dream matches for him to finally have or to keep his new story going. C'mon Santi, even Roman had some questionable fueds, but over time they meant something. Let em cook 🍳
Hot take: how to build up the World Heavy weight championship again is simple have priest lose it to Solo while that's happening Solo turns on Roman starts his own type of bloodline and then at WrestleMania it's Solo vs Roman for the world heavy weight championship and then you get the over for the title and Solo
What are people’s thoughts on having Interim champions when a champ gets injured and can’t go for a while, the way UFC does? It seems like that would solve any issues like the women’s title is about to go through. Let Rhea keep the title but put it on hiatus, and crown an interim champ. Then when she’s ready to go you have a unification match.
I think the person who generally holds it when the person comes back is technically an interim champ, like how seth beat Roman after he came back, same with Roman when he turned heel
As far as I am aware they did crown an interim champion but that was for the nxt cruiserweight title since the title holder JD could not return to the USA due to the pandemic.
I get that but u have to keep in mind it wasn’t until like a month ago that he decided to go full time . Hopefully he’ll be having more from know on. So while I do agree it’s also understandable.
It does feel special Logan Paul is going everywhere with it his last 2 defenses were great would I want him to defend it more ofc but we haven’t had a great us title run since Cena 2015
Hot take. Rhea ripley is one of the best wrestlers on the wwe roster but her title run was lackluster. A dominate champion needs strong storylines which Rhea didn’t have. She spent most of her time supporting the men in her faction instead of having interesting feuds with the other women. While I hate how rheas reign ended with injury, I am excited for the womens world championships new direction and where liv Morgan seems to be headed.

Predictions for who will dethrone every champ:
WWE: Randy Orton (Berlin)
WHC: CM Punk (Saudi Fall event, Fatal 4 Way match up)
US: Bron Breakker (Berlin)
IC: Sheamus (Clash At The Castle)
SDTT: The Wolf Dogs (Eventually)
RAWTT: #DIY (Next Week)
WWHC: Liv Morgan
WWWE: Bianca Belair (SummerSlam)
WTT: Zoey Stark (Wins the belts by herself and it becomes the mid card belt)
I think it's inherently unfair to compare anything that can happen now at Backlash with the new champions to the culmination of at least a year (or two) in storytelling at WM40. In my opinion, they need to tell new/different stories now and in a way calm everyone down a bit for the next big thing. Maybe they can focus more on the in-ring aspect for Backlash. Let's see what they have planned.
Not sure if you have it planned but you should do wwe draft predictions for one of your daily vids
Sanchomania BROTHER‼️‼️‼️
The Sanchomaniacs are gonna run wild on the Machine Santizap 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i think holding too much weight on the first match is bad. you need your champ to go over and look strong. whoever cody faces i hope he beats. as with damian i think the mystique is huge. i see him dropping it to someone to face drew at clash
The thing I feel we all appreciate the most is that all the Championships LOOK freaking AMAZING
Radiohead
I think what needs to happen is that now priest needs to hold the title for quite some time and have absolutely banger matches to elevate the title before losing it and priest having the judgment day means they could be just like the bloodline where he is a surviving champion but make it their own instead of just doing everything the bloodline did
I love that all the championships feel special…i feel like they all should be coveted as it makes for great story telling then…..NIA for women’s heavyweight champ
Liv caused Rhea to vacate the title, so if she wins the title, you can say that Liv beat Rhea for the title 😃
I need The Witches to make their way back to the top fast
29:07 ''what was 'ineverberbebrebrly' going to happen'' caught me off guard for a sec ngl
Just waiting for DIY and New Catch Republic to carry the tag division
We must not have watched the same shows because any prestige that Seth brought that title was immediately destroyed when Roman called it a Losers title and Cody said he needs Roman’s title. And how do you go from talking about the prestige of a title to a title not being as important because the reign of the previous champion is over.
nah nah nah, Wes Lee put the work for the north american, he is the one who put it in the map again
i'm just so disappointed for Rhea, her run should have been legendary. another thing you didn't mention when talking about the WWC is that whoever holds it is just its babysitter until she comes back, and we all know this
Roman truly ruined that title when people are looking at LA Knight and AJ Styles and actually trying to say it's below the dude with 5 moves, wrestled 6 times a year and has NEVER carried a single match he's been in.
11:13 love how Santi say together 🤣🤣🤣 neva peeped his accent
PLEASE WWE, milk this feud until Money in the Bank in Toronto and have Gable beat him dirty there. Imagine how they will boo him 😭
Does a cashin increase or decrease a championships prestige? Would love to know all thoughts…
Increase imo
l believe the North American title was reallyyyy good in the Hands of Wes Lee
i don’t think you should be nearly as worried as you are abt the world heavyweight championship’s prestige. we all know that priest’s run most likely won’t last and are predicting it to end in clash at the castle in scotland, losing to mcintyre who will then almost certainly fight cm punk so those mix of guys are gonna be right back in it not too far from now
Keith Lee Returning to Dethrone Oba Femi? What you guys think?
It's insane how so many titles changed hands at Mania, Rhea was one of the few who did NOT lose the title and IMMEDIATELY an accident happens during one of the promos, she gets hurt for real and has to vacate.
I think the only one whose title didn't change hands and is still fine was Logan Paul.
From Damien, it’s going to be drew, cm punk, Rollins in that order
Seth would probably still be champ if he wasn't hurt and needed knee surgery.
I think that the intercontinental championship in US championship have been so good that they need to bring back a European championship or something like that to help elevate these super young talents
Day who cares of suggesting video idea: Four horsemen of every era in the wwe
Every single time he talked about chad it broke my heart😢
I wish they introduced new tag titles in the ladder match at wm40
It would’ve completely reset both divisions
Video idea: Potential 2024 wwe returns and debuts.
The state of wwe after wrestlemania is looking good
I miss the old looking ic belt
We need a women's IC or US Title
i feel like with all the teases of uncle howdy plus the anniversary of the firefly fun house and add to that raw is happening in Ohio next week which is the home of the goddess she’s gonna return next week and might refresh the women’s title picture
Need our girl back!
Day 22 of asking for santi's top 10 tag teams OAT
2 🧔♂️e 🍋🟩
It needs to be called the World Heavyweight Freaking Championship, that will forever be Seth’s title in my eyes. Also imagine Ilja vs Sami or Gable for the IC
I want the WWE to avoid making the WHC be less than the WWE C'ship, like, it is by default but what I mean us that I hope it doesn't get that treatment of only main eventing when the other isn't available (Seth's reign), like, I believe it could have as good and as strong matches as the WWE C'ship (especially when/if Damian drops it to Drew)
I'm bored so I'll list all the storylines I like for Backlash
This is going to such a sick draft because of this New Era aka the Paul Levesque era .
Bring back cruiser weight belt
Seriously, I really want Sonya Deville to win the Women’s North American Championship
No. Interim champions make no sense in WWE
@ultraomenmurat9937 the roman one is different since he did not go after the universal title immediately.
As far as I am aware they did crown an interim champion but that was for the nxt cruiserweight title since the title holder JD could not return to the USA due to the pandemic.
Logan needs to defend more, I couldn't care less about media attention
I get that but u have to keep in mind it wasn’t until like a month ago that he decided to go full time . Hopefully he’ll be having more from know on. So while I do agree it’s also understandable.
Same
Day 124 of asking for top ten wwe x aew dream matches
Keep going!
Don't give up
Stupid
Your almost there keep going
@MooBurger2 one day he will. NEVER GIVE UP
AOP should’ve dethroned The Dawgs in my opinion would’ve been a banger of a match
Maybe should have waited until smackdown to see if austin theory and Grayson waller got new tag team titles.
All these mid card belts were getting so much attention because Roman was no where to be found 💀
The United States championship does not feel special . It feels like a prop
It does feel special Logan Paul is going everywhere with it his last 2 defenses were great would I want him to defend it more ofc but we haven’t had a great us title run since Cena 2015
Separating titles by card and not just brand was a great idea.
