Thanks for the video...I've been meaning to ask a few questions regarding in the off topic hours. With the first two that were piston filled, do you need to adjust the piston down as you go use more ink or does gravity naturally allow the piston to drop to where it's bottomed out when the ink runs out? Also, is there any method for refilling used cartridges? Something with the eye dropper method doesn't sit well with me if it wasn't specifically designed for it like the last one.
Answer for 1. You don't need to. The ink will just go to the feed. After all fountain pen is controlled leak of ink. But on different air pressure the ink will leak because air expands 2. You can refill cartridge with blunt syringe. The problem is converters often are not designed to be used more than once (except pilot which could be resealed) so you cannot reseal other cartridge, and the connector will wear out eventually
I may be weird but I like the necessary complexity of things like pens.
