I purchased the pattern 2 days ago and absolutely love it. easy instructions along with the you tube tutorial helps immensely. I made 2 pair yesterday for a shower gift and attended the baby shower that afternoon! That's how quick they were completed. Many more will be made soon.

I'm new to sewing and can't wait to try these out! I'd like to keep them one sided, so I'll stop before adding the material to make them reversible. At that point, do I trim off the excess material before flipping it? thanks!

Only thing is these need to be made from material that will not slip - for the soles. Many of the babies that are of the age that would wear these are also learning to pull themselves up into standing position, cruising, and taking first steps. My baby granddaughter 10 months wears similar shoes but they have suede leather bottoms. If she is wearing something like socks - she falls. Think of safety when making things for babies.
