    This is off topic but almost exactly a year ago my friend was killed in his FR-S in a 35mph impact into the back of a garbage truck. He had taken the airbag steering wheel out of the car and put in an aftermarket one. The paramedics said he'd be alive if he hadn't removed the airbag. Stock wheels might not look as cool but they will save your life and I highly advise you don't remove the airbag on a car designed with one.

    Oops that doesnt look so good bro 😂 but i have a idea.. cut a little teardrop shape in the exitplate. So you get a teardrop in an teardrop which still gives the pipe enough room to move around without damaging the circle around the pipe. It will be easy becuz u already see where the pipe hit the most.. and thats exactly where to cut to make the hole look like teardrop hole. I hope u like this idea. ☮

    You will be surprised at how much less movement the engine has after Polly filling. Just make sure you give it plenty of time to setup. I usually let mine sit 3-7 days depending on how much was used. Makes launching and sudden acceleration more responsive.
    I have done it to multiple cars that I own and recommend doing it.

    Pretty sure you could have inserted the torque mount upside down (so it clears the frame) and push it past the frame (it looks like it can go that far, the shaft looks long enough.) then rotate it, and pull it toward you to bolt it up again.

  • @joeylor8289
    @joeylor8289 5 лет назад

    Trick to installing those torque mounts in the future. Use the jack to support your engine. You can put a piece of 2x4 wood if you don't want your oil pan sitting on the jack. Loosen up your driver side motor mount and the bolts at the post mount. You don't have to take the bolts completely out. Use the jack to slow lower the engine and you'll eventually clear the lip to install the torque mount. Then tighten everything back up.

    hey robbie make sure your ground cables arent super corroded and old and or loose where they connect to the chassis/subframe. Ive had similar issues with odd limp mode w/o check engine and random no-starts on the same car. Bad ground will cause those types of issues. Side note i have a 66mm skunk2 tb with new tps so i would start with the tps and clean the tb and worst case might need to replace dizzy

    You could try to film a little in advance so you have time to film at night with the Em-Man and edit during the day when he can't be there.
