Bruh I just a roach so I’m here now
So you're an roach...
I think the best way to control the roach problem is to control the humidity inside your home by running the A/C often, especially in Florida where A/C is most needed anyway.
You forgot to mention smear marks. I just learned about them, and now I'm noticing them on the baseboards and walls, even on my fridge, leading up to my built-in water dispenser. UGH! A lot of people think these are "rust" on their fridge or food stains, but often they're signs that roaches have been crawling around and even in your fridge/freezer! IMPT! You need to clean/disinfect them very well so they don't attract more. My house is super clean, but ever since I bought it a year ago, I've been dealing with this problem. It started with smoky brown roaches n the attic (on the second floor). Those are the ones that fly!! And now I see signs of them downstairs. I've been using Advion for a little over 2 months, and at least I don't see them out in the open (except an occasional dead/dying one or one stuck on a glue trap. And I check late at night with a flashlight!). But I'm terrified and disgusted that there are many signs that they are here, and the ones on the glue traps have been orientals! I sprayed like crazy tonight with Ortho Home Defense. I'm not sure if Advion is working as well as it should. It seems to have increased activity. They're supposed to eat it and take it back to the nest....not just enjoy a free meal on me and hang around forever!
Damn that SUCKS
Terminex uses a special poison that attracts them through pheromones. once they eat it they die and then the living ones feed on the dead and then die. It's wonderful. My brother in law used to work for them and he fixed our issue. The house we moved into had been roach bombed which just forced the roaches to hide in the back of the fridge and oven. Within 2 weeks they were completely gone. No little babies running around. As they die off you will see more in the day time...they derp around and then die.
I seen 3 roaches over the last week outside and now I’m scared I’m finna clean everything
I’ve seen one I’m my showerr
I killed it
@@ellawinn2575 I just killed a whole nest in my kitchen
I just found 3 roaches in ONE NIGHT and it's only been a few hours I'm absolutely TERRIFIED
you know it's bad when i always see one cockroach every 11:00pm
We stayed at a hotel in Austin, TX and we saw a big black roach in the bathtub. Then we tried catching it but it went into the drain in the tub. 1 hour later one was by the wall by the sink. We had already closed the tub earlier so this one came from the sink. Turns out they were Oriental roaches that thrive in moist areas such as sewers. They were big and gross. We got moved to another room on another floor and there we didnt see any roaches. Would that mean there wasn't a roach infestation?
Yeah, they love moist and damp areas. When I was growing up we called them "water bugs".
Hey I saw one run across my room with the light on and I didn't move or anything. It was night time but my light was on there was no way for the roach to know it was night time. I am concerned since it ran across my room we may have a roach problem. Please help!
Seeing one roach does not mean you have a roach infestation, but it does mean you should inspect the home and monitor the pest population. Use a bright flashlight and look under and behind appliances, in cabinets and drawers for roaches, feces and egg casings. You can monitor each area with glueboards. Place glueboards in the inspection areas and check the boards for roach activity every couple of weeks.
i hear a faint scratching noise and chirping in a wall, what is it? i was thinking it might be a mouse or rat but now im scared
Same bruh if you know after 2 years tell meh
My My. My....what a New Followers will Bring.
Im trying to find out what it looks like after a roach had shed.
I am trying to learn about these pests because I suspect there are roaches somewhere in this building. I saw 2 Yonge bugs that could be roaches but the other day I saw an adult run across my tv screen I killed it. I then used a UV flashlight to try and search for roaches but so far I have found none. Do they move faster when using a UV light? I ordered some bug spray and some boric acid and a reusable trap I will mix the acid with sugar and set the trap up and spray the entire house. I do have glue boxes out that are supposed to moniter for things like roaches bed bugs spiders etc all my glue boxes are bug-free aside from some fruit flies. I have lots of leftover pop cans that I crush and save for selling as scrap but there's always a bit of time before the cans are dry that you would expect to attract roaches yet these cans are bug-free. I also have a container of compost worms where again it's moist and has food like rotting bananas and paper that the worms eat I would suspect this would be a good environment and roaches would be attracted to it but none are there so I am at a loss. Is it possible an infestation is in the beginning or maybe scouts from another place in the building?
Is there more I should do during this beginning time if thats what it is?
One other thing I have mice that come in from the outside dumpsters but they are contained to one set of drawers where the gas comes into my stove. I trap them there and I get a few at the beginning of every winter then they are no more but I use peanut butter in the traps and I never see bugs near that bait. I also checked the fridge lining under the fridge in the oven. I just can't seem to find anything like in this video could I be overreacting?
Tools like glue boards are great for monitoring pests in the home. If you are not using any kind of preventative residual spray, then a great product to use for roach treatment and prevention is Gentrol Complete Aerosol: www.domyown.com/gentrol-complete-aerosol-p-17183.html
Compost definitely will be a hot spot for insects, so any way to keep that outdoors and/or completely covered will reduce the risk of insect infestations.
Regarding mice, we definitely recommend that you inspect the area to determine where they are getting in so that you can physically seal up those areas and excludes rodents and insects from the home. We do recommend using traps for indoor control so that you can easily locate and remove any dead rodents. You may also consider using tamper-resistant bait stations and rodenticide outside around the home to prevent further infestation. We have more tips in our article How to Get Rid of Mice here: www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-mice-a-521.html
About their poop droppings , are they like a squishy substance on walls or can they be hard and on the floor
Cockroach feces are easy to identify. Droppings from small cockroaches resemble ground coffee or black pepper, and generally gooey. While larger roaches leave behind dark, cylindrical droppings with blunt ends and ridges down the side which are generally hard. If you suspect you have roaches in your home, we recommend looking over our guide on how to get rid of roaches. As well purchasing one of our kits to assist with your infestation. www.domyown.com/roach-control-kits-c-2_73.html www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html
what I you see just 1 during the day that's came out during the night but is dead is that a problem
If you have only seen one roach and that roach was dead, you most likely have nothing to worry about. Roaches can be occasional invaders that just wander inside, usually attracted by light. If you start seeing a roach every few days, it may be time to treat.
0:07 That’s my friend Mark. He always has this fixation with crawling on wires for some reason.
How do you go about reporting a hotel with a serious roach infestation
We cannot advise you on what the laws may be in a specific location. You may consider contacting the local police department or housing authority for better direction. Of course, we also recommend choosing another hotel for your stay and suggesting the business contact us for assistance.
I sent a sample some time back to find out what the species was (cockroach )and what to use , I never did hear back , and we always use your products demon wp
+Rose Fritz We have not received a specimen from you. Can you tell us what address you mailed it to?
+DoMyOwnPestControl.com I am not sure when I called the company they gave me an address to send the specimen too so I do not have that address at this time
They receive "specimens' by mail, as in actual dead roach corpses? YUCK!
Oh f-- I think I have a roach infestation-
So. Did you overcome the infestation?
So if u just see one roach u might be ok right
