@@GuysTalkingCars how so, like was it too quiet or static? - the instruction manual shows (RCA cut-off version) that two pairs of speaker wires are feeding into the sub and I didn't understand why because the sub is mono output vs stereo so I thought one input was all that's needed, maybe the two inputs automatically bridge the amp for more power output.
Can I just connect my existing power wire and ground and everything to the small wires. The ones I have would go directly into a amp so they are the big ones
I’m not totally clear on the question - this is a powered sub. So it doesn’t need an external amp. But if you’re asking if you can use power source from existing amp, sure. If it’s a good clean 12 volt source probably ok but might wanna swing by an audio shop just for a check in. They’ll usually help for free.
I got the same one, had it for 3 weeks. One of the yellow cords popped out and it started sounding like shit. The guy who put it in says that it doesn't make a difference. I feel like I was ripped off.
@@seanvernon7596 The kit states at least 12-14m2 (7 AWG minimum), a small step down, just solder - the extra width of power is mainly to help carry the power over the length of signal from the battery. ie if the battery and sub are very close together you could potentially get away with a 12, 14 AWG - its more about distance.
Dying. It’s funny how crazy I was in high school and college with the perfect sound system. I love the all in one bass setup. Super clean install.
Thank you 🙏🏻 good sir
hey man, just bought one and gonna install it soon. Did you have to break it in? and if so how long did it take?
No break in needed
hey shane, did you connect to both sides of the car to connect the speaker wires or just one side?
Sorry I missed this! Both sides because one didn’t provide a good enough connection

Thorough presentation. Thanks for the heads up on a killer system!
Much appreciated!
how long does it last? is it still going strong?
@@tye0125 still rocking yessir !!
Just what I was looking for. Good Job 👏 👍
Thanks appreciate it!!

Can you turn the subwoofer off on days that you don't want to use it?
Just remove power wires
Sorry missed this. Yes it comes with a remote volume knob. My son will just turn it to 0 when he wants it off
Thinking about getting 1 of these w 2 jbl 6x9s

Wow . . . That sucks
Did you use 4 gauge kit ?
I believe it was a 6 gauge - there’s guidance based on size of your amp
With the power wire in the harness being 18 gauge, how did you step up to the 6 or 8 gauge on the power from the battery??

How did you install tap in to the wires to your left and right right speakers?
Hi there - I Used a T splice connector
Will this system work in conjunction with the Bose in my 2018 Silverado crew cab 😃
bose is the best you don’t need it 😭
What does the remote wire do?
Turns it on. Have to have a 12 volt on off switch otherwise it stays on when car is off and drains battery
Wish there was more details in this video
What else would you like to
Know? Happy to help!
