Just bought the ta wx1210a and installed it in my jeep jk. Definitely takes longer than an hour to install lol. Anyways, the sound from these is punchy, tight and if u like, rumbling. I have been producing music for 20 years and I can say the bass output is accurate, I listen to mostly electronic music, very very loud if you want it to be but performs much better sitting at around 25-75% and if u install this, make sure to install component or 3 way cabin speakers too as it will definitely overpower your stock system. You don’t need to use an external amp for your cabin speakers but it would be nice. Overall, worth the money and convenience to go this route.
I thinks not. They really need to think about the pricing on those. For 700 bucks I can put together a killer system and have change. Yes it's convenient but I don't think many people will be impressed with the output
It would probably be worth describing where this series of subs lie in terms of quality. Pioneer make great products to suit all budgets. I know their TSA range is their low grade gear. I like the TSD range. I think it offers the best bang for your buck. The PRS range is amazing but significantly more. Also class d amps are very small compared to class a/b amps so describing the size is not exactly helpful. 500watts may be a stretch but again class d amps are very efficient and output a lot of power. Just my 2 cents

Also,, I been debating between which installation wiring kit to get/run, "4 or 8 gauge"? Please help & thank you for your time, Rich.

For the installation - only connect to head unit? No separate power from battery?
Of course you need a Power Cable from your Batterie !
