thank you for this informative video. I was wondering if you know how much power the UPS itself is drawing from the wall when nothing is connected to it. Not much information can be found on that topic.
So weird, when press the button to start mine, power comes through, devices start and the leds light up, and after about 2 seconds it makes the beeping noise and turns itself off again. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Mine just constantly beeps and power button blinks red. Manual says it means "batter not connected", but I am well connected mine. Seems like either battery or contact is broken.
Thanks for the informative video! One question: does the UPS turn on automatically once the electricity is back? I'm thinking also about this model. And this is very important for me, as it makes NAS/UPS work together fully autonomous.
@@Homeneer I've just ordered an 850 because of your video. Let's hope I'm as lucky as you and get the cable in the box. Thanks! EDIT: I got the cable in the box, too.

Great to hear that 🤗
Awesome i think i will buy one. But does it make a sound when you lose mains power? I could not tell in this video.

what kind of battery does it take? do you need APC battery?

The manual says the data cable is not included. What kind of cable do you need to connect the NAS?
Its usb to rj45. They will send you one if you contact them though.

Mine just starts blinking red and yellow, & after a while it's a solid yellow (?)
Can the ups be conected to the pc via a regular usb cable, or it can be done only by that RJ45 - usb cable? Thanks in advance!
Only the rj45 usb cable.
What is the noise level like in normal use? Levels during a power outage don't really matter.
Its more quiet than my NAS. I really haven't noticed it
Super helpful... Good job :) :)
Thanks for the feedback
i wish you showed the battery label
What is on the battery label?
can you mount it to a wall?
yes, you can. both horizontal and vertical. just checked their website, and it's in the manual
Great thanks
Can it run a mid range gaming PC (around 250 wats) just to shut it down at when power outage.
I would expect that use case to be fine
could it be configured to send you notifications on the internet, on the phone, when the power goes out and how much battery does it have?
That would be cool but don't know how that could be done.
Can you buy replacement batteries for this, and will it advise when you need to do so?

After 1 week, were all the LED's lit? Seems only 3 out of 4 were lit even after you had it plugged in for a week with no devices attached
Yes. All leds will be lit when the battery is full. I must have done some power fail test a moment ago since 3 leds were lit only.
Do you need to charge the battery before using it?
Not really. Just plug everything in. Naturally also plug in the UPS and it will start charging
mine comes without the usb cable
