Shaka Ponk is a huge french band, rock, funk, melted with métal or reggae. they are unique. You should watch the all show of Shaka Ponk at alcaline. you'd love it for sure.
I was born in 1958. I am old and I dug this so much. What a performance! Reminded me of some of the theatrics Genesis did in the very esrly days. Excellent Wave! Kudos to the sub who requested this reaction!
Wow. I didn't expect to see Shaka Ponk here (I'm French so I know them). Fun fact, if I remember correctly, at their start, they relied a lot on their imagerie and electronics, but following a technical issues, decided to really work on their music, to be able to play, even if another problem happen.
mostly he said looking at the stage " so that's what you see! it's right there is something good but ( looking at the peoples under him (looking, listening to the concert)) THAT is better! it's the real show!" so in short he is humble saying that the band is not the best thing in the concert but that the peoples togethers are the real good thing about a concert!
Rough translation of what he's saying in French in the beginning : And now I can see... The real show, from here ! Ah, it's that what you see ? Ah... True, it's not bad There's a little unique thing There's kind of a concept I find it's not bad... But you, down there It's much better ! (from where you're standing) THIS is the "A-show" And there is Mr Steve (the keyboard player), up there... He's all alone...
Not my favorite rock band, but I had the opportunity to see them live in my hometown and they set the audience on fire like few does. Very good performers. French (Noir Désir, Mickey 3D, Rita Mitsouko,...) and belgian (dEUS, Ghinzu, Girls in Haway, Hollywood Porn Star,...) rock scenes were very interesting in the late 90' early 2000 and Shaka Ponk started soon after to keep the light on, but I'm afraid they the last ones left... for now. Let's hope.
thanks for the reaction :) I thought you might enjoy the band, even if they aren't THAT spectacular instrumentally-wise (well .. okay.. Steve, the guy at the synth and probably a Kaos Pad, is actually pretty good .. but they aren't JRock-Insane-Skillz-Level :), but they are extremely entertaining and fun to listen to (and obviously watch live :). Finding a title which would fit the "clean" requirement on your page was a bit tough as they tend to be more on the saucy side of life, lyrically (with titles like "Let's Bang" and "Puta Madre" ;). Happy you liked it :) As for the intro: Fra, the singer, says that there is real spectacle and beauty on the stage, pointing to Sam, but the really great show he sees from up there is in the pit : the crowd.
If I'm not misinformed, this was the last concert ever in that special location (Alcaline), and Shaka Ponk wanted to make it as epic as possible and having a choir seemed like a good way to make it epic ;)
I never though you will react to a french band. I have to be honest, I'm really not a fan of Shaka Ponk but this cover is fun. You really should check out Hana Sano's (drummer and multi-instrumentalist from Gacharic Spin and DOLL$BOXX) cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" during last year's lockdown. I guess she was bored haha ruclips.net/video/HbXmA7pvHbU/видео.html
Hello, what a good cover did you get, I also got a song from NIRVANA hope you like it and the channel has many more covers and I hope you join the channel, there are many bands, friend thank

Greetings from Germany. Shaka Ponk belong to the greatest! Check out their live performance of AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie".
Nice and interesting react, love from France!

Gojira.
@@elonzuckerberg5026 gojira is mainly black metal, not rock

Ok, this was definitely different. It did undoubtedly expand my horizons, I'll give you that :p

With my friends and I in the front row for a performance of madness. Well done.
Wow! 😍😍😍😍🤯
That's really like a musical, you are right. Even a church choir on the stage! Cool!

I been a massive fan of this band since I moved to France. Now I am back living in the UK and disappointed I never got a chance to see them live.
Another band I got quite into while in France was Skip the Use.
You need to react to "My name is Stain" by Shaka Ponk, it's a BANGER🔥
Shakaponk forever !!!!
Yes! This is a chaos band ! 😁

Shaka Ponk 🖖
Vive là france
The most beautiful version was at Taratata studios, a french musical émission... Electric ans classic instruments was phénoménal...
This french rock bande is beter in live than in studio 🥰🥰🥰
Next time try fine school revolusion, it's group band trio women metal in Indonesia from west Java...
You should listen the live from Taratata more than this one from Alcaline. So much better!

Why a cover ?
