I feel like even without the origin pulse missing, Alexander could still win the match. Ogrepon would have gone down and iron hands could come in and pressure fake out on Kyogre.
protect & glide or drum beating is relatively free there though, then fake out pressure is gone. If ogerpon is removed, boosted Kyogre does enough damage that scarf urshifu sweeps the endgame.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but couldn’t Rillaboom have switched in to Amoonguss then? -2 Miraidon Draco without the Hadron Engine boost, even with STAB and Specs, has to do little damage against a tank like Amoonguss right? And then you’re threatening Spore which can’t be blocked since Electric Terrain isn’t up, plus I’m like 60% sure -4 Mirai and Iron Hands double into a chipped Amoonguss doesn’t kill. Plus Amoonguss also has the option of redirecting a potential Low Kick into Kyogre, taking very little damage and dealing Rocky Helmet chip.
Personally, I always prefer to teach my Pokémon 100% accuracy moves with less power. Mind you, I’m not a competitive VGC player, but still. It’s just so annoying when your Pokémon’s moves miss whenever you’re using something with less than 100% accuracy…
@ Oh haha I was just talking about in general, as opposed to this direct matchup. I guess Origin Pulse was probably the best move for Oliver’s Kyogre to know, with his team composition.
Love this match; violence everywhere!!!! It’s always boring when people keep stalling the match with parting shot, switching back and forth. Congrats to William
I know it's allowed under the rules. But damn, I get tired of seeing all these legendaries. And I really hate seeing the same like ten damn Pokemon in every damn battle.
@@letsgetfluffy3138is this the only VGC match you've watched? Out of the hundreds of Pokemon in the game, there's probably fewer than two dozen that get used outside of a couple of rare breaks from the norm.
I'm not a big fan of RNG being deciding factors in games but i'll admit that Ogerpon dodge to get the KO was epic.
Bringing not 100% moves always have downside.
That final battle clearly had a divine intervention.
Someone give that Incineroar plushie to Wolfe Glick
😂😂

But that’s what I mean by fake out pressure, kyogre is forced to protect and Miraidon can freely go for Draco to finish rilla of
And in the subsequent turn iron hands threatens a low kick ko on kyorgre

Like what move? Water Spout is reliant on current HP, Surf hits your ally, Muddy Water can miss...

I feel th same ,I can go with lack in power for accuracy
Yep agreed. I lost a game yesterday because my Icy wind (95 accuracy) missed BOTH targets. I love VGC but losing games like that is hard to take.
Probably Surf hahaha 🤣 🤣 @@DanielTredewicz
Italians are on a generational run right now
Oliver thats what u deserve by using max speed rilla (i'm joking no hate)
Max speed Rilla with drum beating is actually genius tech imo because max speed outspeeds 252 speed Urshifu and ties with max speed terapagos
I think the slower Ogerpon is the issue for William, Ogerpon is meant to outspeed urshifu and rillaboom..
william ha imparato a giocare ❤

22:21 NAAAAAAAA que turno tan genial 😂🎉
85% of the time, Origin Pulse misses 100% of the time
Don't know why Oliver didn't use incineroar in this matchup or roaring moon
Draco meteor and dazzling gleam on miraidon, and close combat on urshifu make it difficult and maybe some other things
How come there is no option for captions? 😢
They always turned it off for clipped videos like this, its only on during live 😔
@ Ohh makes sense. I appreciate the info, hopefully we can watch the battles live in the future to fulfill our captions needs hehe
Need the Evoli ex Karte Passwort pleas

@@elkinfencer10 This is just false, I play and watch a lot of vgc.
Good job 👍
