I like how it mixes calm, mystical theme with a feeling of absolute dread and the banging that sounds like forging a weapon. It gives me slight Icecrown Citadel vibes mixed with Nighthold.
Can I get Suramar timewalking plss that place makes me so emotional the zone the story the music the raid the dungeons everything. I did the campaign so many times and I enjoyed it very much

The Sanctum of Domination OST was the best thing about the entire expansion.
Good memories zoning into Sanctum and hearing that first track play out. Just wish it was longer!

The music does sound like breaking chains (of domination) with a heavy hammer, I mean especially the battle music.

The Sylvanas battle theme is giving me PTSD after like 300 pulls in mythic before ending her 💀💀

Say what you will about Shadowlands, the aesthetic, music and art of the expansion was amazing, story/writing/systems aside, this music is a go to whenever I do any tmog runs
I'll never raid there but atleast I can listen to the fantastic music.
Can't wait to run the mythic version with my friends. Music is always amazing we have go admit that

Sanctum of Domination is an awesome raid. Along with Castle Nathria it's the best raid they have made since WOTLK imo.

It is so sad, that while the boss fights were absolutely amazing in this raid, it's narrative and story was just fucking shit. Painsmith was incredibly fun to tank. Fatescribe was pure insanity, but also really fun. Kel'Thuzad should've been the final boss, because holy shit does his fight fit the bill. It was really unlucky that the final boss just flopped the whole raid, because otherwise it would've been S-Tier for me
@@johannavori8698 Yeh I'm inclined to agree. The story sucked donkeys balls. But the artwork, music, boss fights, and atmosphere were epic.
@@happynappyAgreed. The music here is just perfect, it sets exactly the right tone in all the right spots. This score tells as much of the story as the actual narrative in the raid. An absolute masterpiece.
I think they channeled all their sadness and fear from daily office life to this one...

My nipples are hard and the hair on my skin is standing upright from the absolute dread that this music instills in me; it is an A+. Amazing job by the music department.
I agree, this is a real progress compared to WoD where they reused already existing music for the new raids.
@@Wowmusicable Agreed. The atmosphere of this piece is perfect for the grim place that is SoD. I like how the soundtrack has steady and upbeat melodies, clever use of non-musical instuments and really, really dreadful, evil and dark parts, too. Like the boss fight section, for example. Neal, David and Grant set the bar extremely high, in my opinion. Perhaps even much too high. One day I will devote my life to my work the same way that the three of them are doing now.
