Sanctum had completely unique music, it literally had like 11 boss tracks that were unique to the raid, meanwhile Castle Nathria was reusing almost all zone music expect for Denathrius encounter and Council of Blood. Did you not do Sanctum or what? It had like the best raid music they have made in a long time, since BoD.
11:06-12:15 really sets the atmosphere of fighting Sire Denathrius. The ominous cello adds a sense of dread and the music's steady tempo creates sharp contrast vs. how hectic phase 3 gets. An Eternal One on the verge of madness, wielding a sentient sword who is an absolute murder maniac slicing all across the room. One of the best raid experiences in WoW so far.
The bassoon at 6:49 is fantastic. If you listen carefully, you can even hear the player flicking a couple of the last notes! I remember playing this raid for the first time and being the happiest bassoonist alive to hear such a wonderful solo front and center!!
Shadows of Nathria has got to be the most mesmerizing and hypnotizing piece of music ever to come out of any expansion of WoW. I took advice from a fellow raider and went into Castle Nathria while reconnecting my 7.1.2 system back into my pc. OMG AMAZING ! It completely changes everything on how you experience all of it ! Each encounter has music that matches it ! Even getting from boos to boss has great filler !
wouldn't say the most mesmerizing and hypnotic... but it's definitely a massive dark elegant vibe. (Parts of it are a bit too jazzy/Incredibles sounding to fit the setting.)

NSF works for me Frieda is useless, now nerfed, even more of a joke. But the adds of Niklaus are too annoying and do so much damage, and Starvos last leads to many dumb wipes
What's wonderful is how everyone did Stavros last the first week or two, and it was so deliciously difficult. My group I run with now does SFN which is honestly just for parsing, but I do miss FNS.

Unfortunately the rest of the expansion did not live up to it at all. Sanctum of Domination had neither fun fights or appealing aesthetics. SotFO was just...sterile.

this is hands done one of my favourite raids since i start playing in legion, its so amazing and the theme of the place and story is so good.
