We are happy with with both levers. You can't really go wrong with either. They are both highly adjustable and well crafted. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below and we will be happy to get back to you.

The look and style is really great! The dial is super easy to use. I'm glad you like them. What color did you get?

Good review, thank you. I do need to add adjustable levers to my Street Bob.

Thanks! Hope it was helpful. The adjustable levers have really made a difference for me, especially when in traffic. There are a lot of options out there, but we have both been really happy with our Flo and Oberon levers.
Thanks for watching the video and commenting.

Thanks so much. That was really helpful!! I have a 22 Roadglide Special. I am 5 feet tall. Just trying to do my homework before I make such an important purchase

Hi Adriane! Thanks so much for the comment. Glad you found the review helpful. The LePera seat is incredibly well made. and looks great. It just wasn't quite right for me. They will work with you on customizing the foam. It adds a little more cost but it is a possible option. Mark did that with his seat and he loves it. I may do that during the off season as it takes time.

I have the Oberon levers on my Streetbob. In my haste to get them on, i overlooked the little piece of plastic located under the stock clutch lever that needs to be removed and installed on the oberon lever. My clutch lever started to stick because the screw that holds this piece of plastic had backed out and caused friction. Not sure if others have overlooked this. You also need to remove the plastic sleeve on your stock lever for the retaining pin and use it on the oberon. Hope this helps anyone that possibly overlooked this like i did

Hey Joe. Thanks for the comment. The Oberon went on the Street Glide which has a hydraulic clutch. We did have to reuse the retaining ring with the Flo levers on the ST.
Appreciate you commenting and helping others. Outside of the install issue hope you are enjoying your Oberon levers. Mark loves his.

Thanks K great video as usual. I was wondering if you can actually set up the Flo levers closer or your setup is the closest they can be? Thanks

Thanks! Depends on the side. I can still draw the brake side in a litller further on my ST. The clutch side is about as far as I can go without running in to issues shifting.
That said, i am right at the 5k mark on my ST and am due for a clutch adjustment. I'm hoping that once that is done it will let me draw the clutch side in a little further.

great video, as much as I would have thought the idea of adjustable levers was for those with small hands or for injuries, they don't really come that close to the grips without any issues PSR Adjustable levers are the same I can't use them on setting one have to use them on setting 3 so I don't have clutch issues, thanks again 👍🇦🇺

Hi. Thanks for watching the video. The Oberon Performance levers to come closer to the bar than the flows, but if you have a bike with a clutch cable like my ST, you will still be limited as to how far you can bring either in.
On Mark's bike, because he has a hydraulic clutch he can bring his clutch side in further.
Either way, if you have a Harley with stock levers you can still benefit from the thinner lever.
Really appreciate you watching the video and being a subscriber.

Great video. I had Flo on my 2017 Streetglide Special, and been looking at options for my 2016 Softail Slim S(hydraulic clutch). Just want to get more play with the clutch and control. Ill need to look up the oberon and see if they fit. Great looking bikes.

Thanks for taking time and watching our video. Really appreciate that. Since we have made the video we have had the chance to really use the new levers. We are both happy with what we purchased. If there is one slight advantage, it goes to Oberon only because the dial makes on the fly adjustments easier. But honestly, we don't think you could go wrong with either and both look great on the bikes.

Great video. I wonder if you can make up the difference in the friction zone by adjusting the clutch.

Hi!. Thanks for watching the video. So as you may have seen in the video, the new Softails have that automatic clutch cable adjustment. I'm not comfortable or skilled enough to try to work around that. My bike is due for the mileage service which also includes a cable adjustment internally. I'm hoping that will help with the friction zone.

Fair and objective review; thank you for making this video I have a '21 Street Bob and '23 Road King Special and went with the Oberons for both bikes. I looked at the Flos, too, yet for me, I preferred the adjustability of the Oberons simply because of the dial (I like the fact that I know what number to set them on). I also had the same issue you mention concerning not being able to start the RKS in 1st gear. When I brought the bike in for its 1K mile service, the tech told me it was because I had the clutch set at its nearest position and, if I want to start it in 1st gear, the sensors won't acknowledge unless I leave it in dial position #5. Weird, but idc and so I leave it on #1 and simply start the bike in neutral.
Question: I love the split-view mirrors on your Lowrider ST and am curious where you got them and if you'd please provide a link? Idk why H-D only makes theirs in chrome, and I've been dying to find a decent pair in black. Thank you. I subscribed, btw. ✌🤘

    • @mkmotoriders
      @mkmotoriders  Год назад +1

Hey Peter, thanks for the comment! The Oberons are definitely easier to adjust. The sensor on the clutch side is pretty sensitive so it is nice with either set of levers to be able to adjust it.
Funny story about those split-view mirrors. I originally bought them for a another bike I had but never installed them. I loved the mirrors but didn't keep that bike long enough to actually put them on. And with the ST being blacked out I didn't want to install chrome mirrors. Then a random Sunday, about two months ago, I was cleaning the garge and found them in the storage cabinet. It was then I got the crazy idea paint them with Plastidip. The aren't perfect, but for my first time trying they turned out pretty well. This off season, I am going to strip the Plastidip off and re-spray them.
Thanks so much for commenting and subscribing. I really appreciate the feedback and you helping the channel grow.

@@mkmotoriders Thanks so much for replying and for pointing out Plastidip. Interesting product and I love the look on your bike. I'd thought about just taking the plunge on the H-D chrome mirrors and spray painting them, but at $150-ish (and with my terrible spray painting skills lol) am too afraid I'd eff them up.😳 Also...love the Le Pera on the Street Glide! I put their "Maverick" on my RKS and got the gel for the driver and, along with my rear suspension and lighting upgrades, it's a game changing product. Great, family-owned company, too! Thank you again. ✌🤘

Thanks for the review. I notice on your ST you have the kahuna heated grips. How hot do they get? Some people say warm at best, and others say anything more than 3 will burn them. Future video idea: test the surface temp using an infrared thermometer. Harley says should get to at least 140 degrees. Subscribed!

I have them, and put them on 6. I've done 3-4 in 60 degree weather and they got my hands hot. I've had them on 6 in 40-50 degree weather and could barely feel them. I also have hand guards.

I prefer the Flo Motorsports levers. With a skinner and rounded lever, I don't experience any hand cramps or fatigue especially it I have to work the clutch. I have small hands so Flo Motorsports levers works really well for me. Thanks for watching my video. Ride safe!
