For like $250-300, or $350, you could make it look like it was professionally painted. Looks like you prepped well, but could’ve done a lot extra afterwards. For $200, I guess it’s not amazing, but not horrible either. Some wet sanding, painting some more, clear coating, wet sanding, buffing, waxing, ceramic coat…. It’d look nice as it could!!
Looks about the same as how my buddies did when he had to do this with a car in his early 20s. Definitely beats the before pic, but yeah when painting yourself the finish itself will always feel Matte which is why it’s usually good to just go for a matte color instead of fighting it 😂 but yeah solid. Plus maybe after having this layer done they could go back and kick some ass on it next time? 😮 just another 200 no big deal 😂
Are you insane? That looks great! for only 200 you pay 2000 for a regular paint job that’s way more easier because they have actual paint guns and a garage yet they charge ridiculous amounts.
@@Eta30mins For $200, I probably would’ve maybe gotten a little less paint and invested into sanding and polishing products. Aside from that, the only other thing in between, is maybe waiting for the paint to dry or cure before wet sanding. It’s a bit tricky to manage if the amount of primer, paint, and clear coat is cut down; but that’s why I suggested something reasonable around the $250-300 range, if possible. Edit: And yes, I would totally invest in some kind of painting “booth” setup if possible. I’m almost 99% certain that this paintjob in the video, caught fibers, hairs, bugs, and all sorts of stuff; that is, unless it was in a closed off garage (for the most part) of some sort.
Dawg that looks fire, you did a great job with the prep. Honestly it looks great as it but you could spray it with 2K clear, it's automotive grade clear coat in a spray can. You press in a tab on the bottom which mixes in the activator, that stuff adds a protective coating and that's the absolute best clear coat in a can that you can buy. Even without buffing it'll have a mirror reflection. It might orange peel in a couple spots but a little wet sand a buff would get it to look indistinguishable from a regular paint job. Anyways, great job man.
Looks good just take more time not trying to paint it right away like me lmao take time to prep more trust me I did the same 😅 ur prep work is good tho just keep going broski good things come to those who wait

Actually not bad tbh for no experience
Only way to get experience is to try and next time try to do better.. well is better then it was so fuck it u can fix it later
Decent for some spray paint. Kids who think they can do a cleaner job with the same materials most likely can’t
not too bad, looks like a solid daily. its a shame the paint on old hondas was so bad
Respect the grind bro! Beautiful work and accord
Appreciate it!!

It honestly came out a gun metal color. I like it. Not bad for first time either.
that is not bad at all
Looks good, great humor lol
Needs clear coat, and definitely see if you can maybe do a 3in1 compound after clearcoating it
It looks like the finish (or no finish) of the Chinese parts you get online for $60. Cheap.
For using spray paint you did a damn good job
Respect bro and its not a bad job for a first time. We know you gotta work with what ya got.
Respect for being honest about the process and how it turned out.
Damn bro u did a good job 🔥🔥
Actually pretty impressive. Could have sanded and filled a bit more and maybe more coats and seal but for a beginner that's great!
That’s a W paint job especially while using spray paint
